Once again, I am carrying the torch for Filthadelphia's annual Top 25 Player poll this offseason.

Your favorite offseason debate is back by popular demand!
Thanks to everyone who voted last go around I'm excited to see where the 5th annual edition ends up.

Here are the Rules:
-Vote ONE player per poll. You'll be able to change your vote just like in previous years so you can self-implement rank choice voting.
-The criteria of ranking the players is YOUR OWN. The whole point of bringing this to the GB is to attract the widest amount of votes/perspectives on the game as possible to form a true consensus. Some people value shooting over defense, team success over individual prowess etc. Filthadelphia wanted to bake all that into this poll set no matter how chaotic.
-Each poll a player will win and then be taken out of the field. There will be 25 polls in all.
-There are only 10 possible poll options so I will start with last year's Top 10.
-As each poll commences I ask you to COMMENT IN THE THREAD your vote for who should be added in the next poll. There will be a large list of players yet to be added to the field below that you can look over to make your vote. I will tally up the votes in the comments at the end of each poll and add the winner accordingly. For example, if you want Xavier Tillman added in the next poll just comment "Nominate: Xavier Tillman"
-If a poll is overwhelmingly skewed towards one guy I will try, time willing, to edit it early and move on to the next one.
-If there is a tie in the poll. There will be a run-off poll created with just the tying parties to determine a winner. The losers of the runoff will then be added back into the field of 10 for the next poll.
-Feel free to ask any questions via pm or comment

This is tough. I went AD because I'm riding the long shot that he stays healthy. And a healthy AD is definitely a top 10 player.

Jimmy Butts has earned top 10. Nominate Garland.

This is TOUGH...but this is PROJECTING next season & I think DAME is gonna go bananas again at least statistically.

There's nothing left for Lillard to do but put up enormous stats.

We'll get more "Dame Time" takeover games that will have talking heads like Screaming A saying lame cliche stuff like "ya'll must've forgot!". But I haven't and I fully expect him to bomb away from 3 where he's in the running for league's leading scorer and as such will be catapulted back into top 10 convo.

Meanwhile Jimmy will likely have an up & down season (and/or Playoffs) with his health. He's not only going to be a year older as a guy who's had a TON of bumps & bruises along the way but his workload defensively will also increase with PJ gone. I just don't think Jimmy will have anywhere close the regular season & don't see his body getting better as he ages. BUT major IF Jimmy could remain healthy, I can see his argument to be above because he can takeover (at times -- I just think it will be less & less).

Just wanted to point out it's truly SAD & pathetic that Anthony Davis isn't a complete slam dunk as top 10 player. I've never seen a guy of his talent be held less accountable and swept under the rug as much as him. This dude was supposed to be generational, he SHOULD be in the top THREE convo and isn't even on most people's top 10. That's absolutely crazy, just less than a handful of seasons ago people said he was and should be better than Giannis, Jokic and Embiid who of course all either been the MVP or at least in the conversation.

Laker fans REALLY need to start placing all their focus & blame on Anthony Davis, replace him with any of the guys he was supposed to be better than and there would be no question if the Lakers make the Playoffs, only just how far would they go.

Kinda just giving Jimmy his respect here as a solid top-10 guy. I do think there's a likely chance 2-3 of the guys on this list surpass him this year, but I just don't have strong feelings on which one, enough to vote someone over Jimmy.
