Brunson-led Knicks look like the real deal

It’s pretty remarkable how far the Knicks have come the last two decades. It’s obviously just three games in, but the Knicks are playing sound, entertaining basketball. I ain’t ever know what it’s like to see have a true floor general run a squad for my team. But sheesh, he has Julius Randle looking extremely competent, RJ always starts off slow. Cam looks incredible. But Brunson has fit in like a glove and has everyone playing their normal role, instead of having Alec Burks, Randle, IQ, RJ play point guard anymore.

The old Knicks narrative has to change because the Knicks are practically 2-deep at every position with incredible chemistry, and a MUCH better constructed team. The Knicks are super entertaining, and are ran perfectly. I think the Knicks can surprise like when the Knicks traded for Rose and made the fourth seed. Now the Knicks have two point guards anyone would kill for.

You can see the kind of ball moment, and chemistry. Looks like the old Spurs movement out there. We ain’t used to this.

Anyone think the Knicks can surprise despite a very deep east? The top teams on paper in the east certainly have higher end talent, but if the Knicks make a playoff seed, it’ll be because the chemistry is off the damn charts, and loaded with depth from top to bottom.

Brunson for sure should not be surprised that he left a contender for the next 5+ seasons for a team that will fight for a play in spot. He chose money over trophies, can t blame him though.

RJ on the other hand is looking like a real bust.

People laughed at me when I predicted they will finish 7th in the east

The Knicks have lacked a true guard for a long time. So yes, adding Brunson makes the team looked more competent.

In addition to the Brunson signing, that Hartenstein signing is also looking good.

The Knicks just need to stay away from looking predictable offensively; last year, the Julius Randle led offense looked easy for opposing coaches to gameplan.

Not trying to steal your thunder but playing teams like the Pistons and the Magic (that are like 65% developing prospects) maybe has a way of making you think your 'chemistry is off the damn charts.'

They've had the benefit of a fairly easy schedule. That being said, pace is why they are where they are at.

I just finished the game. I think I counted maybe seven possessions where they weren't in the half court at 20 seconds. That kind of pace, while keeping everyone fresh, will wear teams down throughout a game.

RJ still needs to be able to finish through contact.

My Hornets also look a lot better than I was expecting, especially missing several starters. But it's only 3 games, I know getting overly excited at this point is a bad idea. I have no idea what to expect when we play y'all tomorrow night.

The Knicks 2 wins were against Detroit and Orlando. Probably should temper expectations for now.

Its not the teams the Knicks are playing, it’s how their playing, their pace, passing. Although plating better teams the Knicks wont look like a prime GSW team every night lol. And yes their chemistry is great, asides from Brunson, and Hart, the Knicks core has been together for 3+ years now. Something that doesn’t usually happen in NY.

Having watched Brunson for a few seasons, um, if he's leading your team for more than a couple of games here and there, well, you're not gonna be very good. Sorry.

Clearly you’re not someone who has critical thinking skills when you take into consideration that Jalen earned his spot on the Mavs. And good thing you ain’t an NBA expert because you’d lose out on a top PG on a fairly cheap deal when you compare other point guards who make more.

Watch the game before you make an opinion fool
