The San Antonio Spurs' release of guard Joshua Primo -- the No. 12 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft -- stemmed from multiple alleged instances of him exposing himself to women, sources told ESPN.

The decision to release Primo on Friday night was sudden and shocking, and it spoke to the severity of the issues surrounding the promising 19-year old player.

How embarrassing. Seriously, what is this guys deal exactly ? Its remarkable how if these young guys don’t throw their future away in one way, it’ll be in another.

Not gonna lie...I'd pick him up if i was the Lakers. He's actually pretty good from what i've seen.

There's a statement from him in the article. Says he is getting mental health treatment and dealing with past issues.

You read this and your first thought was that the Lakers should sign him? Cmon man.

If its just exposing himself to multiple women and nothing more i.e. making some touch him,touching them or even going farther like rape I would roll the dice and pick him up as he's only 19.

But first thing first is I would have him go seek help for his issues before seeing him on the court again.Again as long as its not anything more then this the Lakers have to look at bring him in as their talent and depth are horrible and he's a young player at 19 with a ton of upside.

Interestingly enough, not the first Spurs guard to do that.

Apparently he exposed himself to a female in Minnesota last week while they were in town to beat the T-Wolves and she reported it. Then it came out that he had already exposed himself to a former female Spurs staffer.

Somebody will def sign him eventually. Prob not this season. He’ll go through rehab and claim he’s been rehabilitated and yada yada, and then he’ll be signed by another team next year. Prob a desperate team like the lakers or Knicks tbh.

Sexual abuse can beget sexual abuse. He may be telling the truth. I have no idea.
