Dude is just not good atm. 29% from 3 on 9 attempts, 46% TS. 14FGA, 35% from the field. Once widely regarded as a top 5 shooter of all time, now barely more efficient than Westbrick himself.

His shooting numbers are beyond pathetic right now. He's actually a major part of why the Warriors are struggling. Really hope he can turn it around because I love watching the guy.

Didn’t most of RealGM already agree with this after the first game of the season?

Time to trade us Klay, Kuminga, & Moody for Randle, Fournier, & Reddish...
...

Sure, a good kiln can get up to 2,400 degrees Fahrenheit.

He's not the same defender, but you don't just forget how to shoot. He's still learning his new body and his new normal. He's also not playing the same role that he did before injury.
Wiggins has taken Klays role, and Klay now has the Harrison Barnes role. There is nothing wrong with that, and I expect to see him putting up Barnes type numbers by the end of the year.
Barnes in 201 gave them 12/5/2 on 47/38/76 in 2016
I expect Klay to do better in that role and give the Warriors like 15/3/2 on 45/40/85. Which is all that they need really
Give Klay his respect, for a guy that is chill and likes to joke around, he really is a true competitor

Do they still have those pottery places where you can go with friends and make random stuff?
Or was that just a fad?

He's getting older.. two surgeries in. You gotta give him at 25 games to get it going man.

Guy had two gruesome injuries, he needs time. What he did in the last po was still awesome all things considered.

Watch GSW win another chip. This is regular Season. Warriors built for the Playoffs.

20 more games or so. Warriors should look into playing him on reduced minutes though if he isn't already. I mean Steph went through a 25 games slump last season then had a great finish/playoffs. Klay may turn it around when it matters.

Whats the list of great shooters who became bad shooters its often the last to go. Slumps happen but don't think the defense will come back

Idk guys, pretty sure if he had it in the playoffs and Finals last year. Then getting 3 months rest in the off season means he'll be alright this season.
It's probably nothing to worry about

He is still a huge positive in the Warriors starting lineup when you're looking at the metrics of the starting 5. So I think "cooked" is a bit extreme, but it's clear he is not the same player. He needs to start taking more efficient shots and playing fewer minutes, the trouble is the Warriors' bench is pretty thin so there is no GPII to the rescue. He does however know the system and can still play with the top group. We just need him to start making more efficient choices, he should never shoot more than Steph.
I guarantee he can shoot better, but he likely will never be 40%+ from 3 every season Klay again. Keep in mind he was 38.5% from 3 in the regular season and playoffs last year, I doubt he suddenly has fallen off a cliff. He's in his head with the media comments and didn't play at all during the summer. He will play and shoot better over time, but I question keeping his minutes so high. Moody needs a bit more shine, but you guys shouldn't completely write him off, he can contribute still.

I love how people on here **** on guys who come back from over a year off. As I said about Simmons, I’m giving these guys (Klay, Murray, Simmons, Kawhi) at least a half a season before putting the pen through them.

Cooked is taking it too far but he has regressed which is understandable given the injuries.

Klay has always gone through stretches of mega slumps. Just about every season even in his prime he will go through it. I'd say give the guy at least 20 games first..This however is probably the worst slump in his career.
2018/19 season - Klay started the first 7 games of the season 15.1ppg on .396 FG% and 13% 3 point percentage. Didn't score 20 points until the 8th game
2015/16 season - Averaged 15.5ppg in his first 12 games...scored over 20 points only once in that stretch
