I know it’s hard for a lot of you to admit this and maybe it’s because he was drafted 21st that some think he’s not as good as these guys, who knows, but going by the numbers, age and progress Maxey is better than all these guys. He’s the best scorer and the best shooter of the bunch and his lack of play making he makes up for in efficiency.

He’s averaging 24ppg on 52%fg and 48%3pt and those that say this isn’t sustainable have to realize he shot 49%fg and 43%3pt last season.

This year he has a great chance to make the all star team at just 22 years of age.

As a Sixers fan I wouldn’t trade him for any of these guys.

Lol I like Maxey more than almost anyone. Don't do that to him and give people a reason to dislike him. He doesn't need to be better than all those guys to be awesome in his own right

Hussien should be cringe for us Philly fans but been at it for so long that he's just our guy at this point. So I'm with you, HF--they admit Maxey's a top-15 guy or we burn the place down.

He's not better than Hali or Garland...

Green is too young to know but I agree that he's better than Poole.

Better eFG% than Embiid, better 3P%, fewer TO (2.3 vs. 3.7). All in all Maxey is superior to Embiid.

So what he was missing his best player and just dropped 32 and NO turnovers at 21years old. Clearly he isn’t the reason we lost.

It's kind of frustrating how good Maxey, Simmons, Embiid could have been had they ever played together with Maxey at this level..

Embiid gets tired and rolls around on the ground. It's time to trade him and build around Maxey. Soon you will admit this as well.

Maxey is good, but can HE see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

He had also been a terrible outside shorter up to that point at every stage. I understand the kid is a hard worker however how about letting the kid put together at least two solid season before making big claims. It’s easy to make a statement like this then never have to answer for it if your wrong.

Maxey is one of my favourite young players in the league today, he's definitely right there with all those guys. He's scary good, the first step is deadly.

Weird, he was getting talked down during the playoffs by Sixers fans who were propping another player up...

I have Maxey behind Garland but ahead of the rest of this list.

If you care about 8 game sample sizes, Haliburton is averaging 22 ppg on slightly better efficiency than Maxey, while averaging 6 more assists. I'd say theyre about even right now, but I like playmaking so give the edge to Hali.
