Ja Morant has been a ridiculously good dunker as soon as he entered NBA & consistently produced outrageous dunks. An "ordinary" dunk by Ja's high standard, would be the best dunk made for anyone else. Ja's level of athleticism and vertical leap is something else.

Just 1 hour ago, Ja has already made the dunk of the year.

That was decent.

I prefer more contact for posters though personally.

Carter is an overrated dunker. I would take many dunkers over him including Ja, Rose, Wade, etc

for In-game dunks I always have Blake Griffin near the top.

Morant's dunks lack force on the finish. He cocked waaay back on that dunk but even the net itself barely moved and there was no sound at all. And when he attempts more forceful finishes he ends up missing the dunk.

So definitely not the 2nd best dunker ever, but he's an incredible athlete.

I'd stick with Jason Richardson.

Yeah I'm assuming that's someone that was just too young to watch Carter in game before he was a Net based on the players listed?

Vince was the perfect combination of finesse, power, body control and style the game has ever seen.

I will say this, I prefer the smaller dunkers in dunk competitions. But I prefer the bigger dunkers in game. To me there is just something different watching like a Shawn Kemp demolish a defender. Dont get me wrong, the athleticism that a guy like Ja or prime Rose showed is fantastic to see. But ya something about the bigger dudes and the force they have in game separates them in my book.

Vince Carter had like 2 seasons of trying to poster players and then spent the rest of his career as a jump shooter.

He's an overrated contact dunker, although his dunk of death is one of the best basketball plays ever.

Ja is making the case of being the best contact dunker of all time because Ja legitimately wants to put his opponent through the rim and embarrass them every chance he gets.

Contact dunking is all about mentality and Ja, like young Blake Griffin wants to destroy his opponent and put him on his highlight reel.
