James Harden - Predict the Contract

Post#1 » by flranger » Tue Jan 17, 2023 3:00 am

Scheduled to make $35.6 player option next year and let's assume he declines the option

What type of contract do you expect for him going forward, and with whom??

He is having a top 15 type player year but given his age I doubt he gets the full max. Three years 130 million is the max he will get. Outside of Jokic he is as good as any playmaker in the nba and can still score pretty heavily if asked. It’s his age .

Having said that if he continues to keep himself in his current shape for the rest of his career his game is all about skill so it’s not going to age badly

Think he deserves some sort of life membership to every NBA city strip club? Like free entry and a $2k tab after each game? Something like that, sort of like a life time achievement award.

Reckon Morey and the Sixers FO is gonna wait to see how far they go with James and how much he is capable of producing. As of today, the man is earning his bread and future remunerations, too

He will cut Morey a discount, he won’t go back to Houston. Probably 3 years and 90 million.

He was SO bad at the end of the playoffs last year, so I think we have to wait-and-see. He's playing great now, but I wouldn't trust him. If he can keep up this level of play, someone might max him

I predict that his contract will be a cause of regret and sorrow for the organization that decides to retain his services long term. . .

He is pretty much back to playing Brooklyn level pre hamstring harden. He should be getting 40 million a year at his current form. I think he will get better as the season goes on .. if Morey decides not to give him 40 someone else will give him a 3 year 125 to 130 million

40mil per year for a guy who couldn't get it done even in his prime in the playoffs? Nah.

Yes the guy averaging 11.2 assist a game.Even his biggest detractors admit he is still an elite playmaker.

Go see who is making that kind of money and harden well and truly deserves that compared to the rest of them

harden is getting the supermax this offseason from either philly or HOUSTON after he will be voted to the all nba team

if harden is not voted to the all-nba based on his current stats and someone like curry is, harden will have a legit case to sue the braintrust of the nba for legal monetary damages

Imagine thinking that assists per game was the be all end all of someone’s playmaking abilities. There’s far more to it than that and there are multiple (and I mean MULTIPLE) players in the NBA who have less assists and are far greater playmakers than Harden is.

I suspect this guy might be an undercover harden hater who wants to generate harden hate with all these over the top posts..
