The Clippers title window closed?

At this point I think it’s safe to say the Kawhi/PG era window is completely done. They aren’t getting younger. They can never stay healthy. Lue is tanking this year with his rotations, costing them 10 wins probably. They are .500. That is worse than the Lou/Harrell led team at this point in the season.
There is no negative feelings, or waiting to see what happens, it’s just obvious, the state of the team. They are already looking at trades according to Shams. I think it would be best if they trade PG first, although it’s unlikely.
They will finish this era 0-4 so far, while the Thunder possibly pass them up in the standings and have an incredible future ahead of them. Did the Clippers championship window close 2 seasons ago in reality? Or this year?

Knew the thunder were going to be involved in this thread somehow...
Man...i like the thunder but this is getting kinda annoying with ur bandwagon fandom....
Cant we just enjoy the rise of the thunder without comparing them to every team.

brutal schedule is coming for the clips. 10 out of 11 games are road games. they are out of the play-in picture after this I guess, let alone playoff picture.

I mean the trade to get Kawhi/PG is kind of relevant here considering the assets they gave up… and literally why they are in this situation.

Hardest stretch of the season. The Lakers and others will likely pass them up in the standings.

Presti has a history of robbing other GM’s .. but the SGA and multiple first rounders for George might be his best trade.

The can still turn it around although I wouldn't put much faith and trust in it. They're just not a good team

How is the number in the title correct?
Clippers are 23-23. Doubt they have been 45-1 at this point in 2021.
Or what is it you wanted to say?

It's been reasonably closed for a while, like I guess they had an outside shot, but they haven't been a legit threat since very early in the tenure. Was still the right gamble at the time, but never loved the complimentary pieces and how they cover the deficiencies in Kawhi and George, but they were able to put together nice depth overall.
It's only a real failure if you view a team through the lense of championship or bust. Sports aren't actually enjoyable if you do that though, unless you just jump from super team to super team.

22 fewer wins? I don't think so
I'm guessing you mean they had 22 more wins in 2021 by the time they had 23 losses

apparently that window was never open.
curtains were drawn to let some light in but there was no fresh air from an open window
