Assuming he requested to be released because he wasn’t happy with his minutes. He’s looking to join a contender. Where does he end up?

Not sure why he'd go to the Lakers

Probably more likely he'll go to the Clippers instead

He's from LA, so either Lakers or Clips. LOL at going to a contender...

Wait, so the Cavs aren't a contender? This is his best team he's had since Lebron left and only now he wants out. Odd timing.

Man….really dig Mo Bamba. But feel like Love could add a wrinkle to the Lakers as well. Probably not enough time available to make both happy. Tough call for Rob whether or not to pursue Love.

Timing isn't that odd since he got replaced in the rotation by Dean Wade. Presumably Love adds more value than the likes of Luke Kornet...

really poor use of an expiring asset by the cavs.

They're historically bad for this, see JR Smith, Drummond, Thompson etc.

Would be extremely redundant w Blake already on board.
Probably a slight upgrade but doubt ownership sees it as worth it.

Expiring contract is not an asset, it’s just a tool to facilitate a trade. Teams don’t covet expirings, what they covet is the ability to dump bad contracts or long term salary, the expiring they get is just a means to an end.
