What does that mean?
I don't think that's how you use "flak" in a sentence.

I feel like he wants to say white but is using European instead.

Yeah, because they're not teaming up like you guys and they openly say they're not into building superteams and tampering.

Dirk got a lot of flack until he won in 2011. Funny how the narrative changes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was seen as a soft Euro jump-shooting big that couldn't get it done when it mattered.

Well if we talking about players like Jokic. He does not have the expectations and pressure of winning championships like the Brons, Kds of the world

It almost sounds like Draymond not even acknowledging other international players in this discussion. Lol.

They also don't get celebrated or promoted nearly as much. That's an issue with the mainstream media in the US that would prefer to avoid having to talk about Euro players on a day to day basis. Gotta take the good with the bad Draymond.

What is he talking about? I recall watching Dirk's career, I remember all the flak he got for the 1st round exits, the Finals loss to Miami. Dirk was a media punching bag when it came to being "too soft" and not good enough to win it all, up until 2011.
Giannis was getting flak before he won? I sure remember he was. How can anyone say Jokic isnt getting flak. Any conversation on here, on social media, on ESPN. Whenever Jokic's name comes up people bring up the case that he's winning MVPs and it looks bad that he is winning MVPs but not winning it all. Luka just turned 24, so he is still young enough where that conversation isnt constant with him.
I cant even say this is just nowadays short term thinking, because again anyone who watched Dirk's career saw this being a massive talking point. But again its not a short term thing because this is one of the most talked about things with Jokic at the moment. Even though Jokic hasnt gone and teamed up with another All NBA level player, hell he still hasnt played with an all star yet.

Yes because Jokic has been chilling in denver not creating a "super team"
KD and Bron are the poster childs of "super team"
Super teams come with expectations.
When the team fails to meet expectations the team receives criticism.
Seems pretty straightforward.
Green has a big mouth and says dumb things.

Because his team is nowhere near theirs in their glory days and even now for KD. Why is it so hard to comprehend that?

All greats get this ''flak''. Same was with Pau, couldnt win a play off game, then he won 2 with Lakers, and I remember at one point, people argued that Pau might be even better than Dirk, Dirk was just a ''choker'', tho his play offs numbers were insane so was his regular season records, with teams, that I personally never believed will ever win Larry.
Someone here said that Denver reminds me of Dirks Mavs, and I can see that, but also disagree, because in my eyes, Denver is clear contender, where Dallas always screamed pretender, and to me, them winning in 2011 remains to be one of the biggest surprises to me, never saw it coming.

Yup Dirk basically ends this conversation right away. Dirk was a Euro who had top 25 all time talent and career. So he was a superstar on the court, so he had the lofty standards. And guess what was the dark cloud over Dirk's entire career up until 2011, he's a soft Euro who cant get it done in the playoffs. His 2011 championship drastically changed how people view his legacy, because up until that, ya he was the poster child of getting flak for not winning a championship.
