Sounds like this is from the team. Very quick (and IMO right) move from the Grizzlies.

I see you NBA. Trying to get the Lakers and Clippers into the playoffs

Two things to note from the press release: 1). it reads at least two games, 2). the suspension comes from the Grizzlies themselves, not the NBA. He may be in more trouble yet.

He’s not a wild boy, he was never that dude. Now he’s pretending to be that wild boy and everyone sees through it . It’s a fake tough image and no one is falling for it

so 2 games in the interim with a clear and imminent probability of being more than 2 games. Grizz coaching staff, FO, and ownership need to step up and denounce this.

I mean, the stories surrounding him aren't really 'typical'.

Even if he manages to stay out of legal trouble going forward, having a semi-functioning brain is going to hold him back. This is one of the dumber dudes to come around in a while.

I'm sure it will be end up being more than 2. Kyrie's suspension came with an "at least" and it ended up being longer than the initial amount.

Lol, why do people think that if you grow up in a nice environment, you don't wanna live the fast life?

He's a young athlete with money and fame, lol, he wants to live that life that all young famous people live.

Michael Jordan grew up just like Ja Morant and was outside gambling and associating with actual gangsters and paying gambling debts.


There's more people in impoverished environments that live a regular boring nine to five than there's people in who grow up in a regular middle class environment that live fast.

It's not about where you from, it's about your personality. Ja Morant's love the fast life and he's gonna live it. Just like Jordan did.

Only difference is Jordan didn't have social media.

I hope he gets better people around him. Don't be afraid to have people around you who are willing to tell you straight up "no, this is a bad decision."

They’re at the clippers and lakers in LA with an off day in-between? If this suspension keeps him form making that trip it may be the best thing they could’ve done for him.

Don’t need him running around LA getting into trouble.
