What is up with these guys being so sensitive?? The league needs to release a memo saying they won’t kick out paying fans unless they are heckling with racism and threats.

Ps it wasn’t just one fan. He had security kick out 2 people I believe from other clips where twice he points at different people saying “you too” (which security complied with).

I mean, we weren't there. Maybe all the fan did was a rock-the-cradle taunt, maybe he said something else. I'm not ready to call Westbrook sensitive just because he got a fan kicked out because some of these fans think that because they paid money for a ticket that gives them free reign to say whatever the **** they want.

I doubt that's the reason they were kicked out.

He’s done this 3-4 times at least. NBA fans haven’t suddenly become way more aggressive or something. Clearly it’s the players reactions changing. If I pay for a $4000 seat… kicking me out over something small taunting wise is dumb AF

How do you know that those 3 or 4 times the fans didn't say something out of line? I don't care if you paid $40 million for the ticket, it doesn't give you any right to swear at the players.

Yeah that's certainly one side of it. The other is where is the line that an NBA player can just go point at some fans and without having any idea of what was said/done or any confirmation the player's claims are true, security just tosses them.

And then btw Russ stands there like a douche with a smirk and waving them out like he works on the tarmac. Russ is a corn ball no matter how you slice.

I get that, but at the same time it's an 82-game season, players deal with trash talk every single game and only a few fans get kicked out per year? Do you go to work and have people talking **** to you constantly? And I get it, it's just fans and it's not that serious for the most part. But let's not act like there aren't those drunk **** in every game yelling stuff like "Westbrook you're a bitch!"

To be fair on more then one occasion Russ has also been the recipient of drunken bigotry from the crowd too. I cannot speak for every instance but the guy gets way more hate then is rational and the league plays him up as a villain for clicks and likes.

People need to just relax and enjoy the game.

Harrell called Luka a "bitch ass white boy" straight to his face in front of millions watching on tv, yet the league did nothing and Luka didn't even care.
So I'm really not that up in arms about some drunk guy in row 35 calling Westbrook a bitch when he wouldn't even be able to hear him if he weren't straining to, and I'm not sure why anyone else should be outraged by that prospect either.
If he'd just ignore it like a grown adult it wouldn't be such a common occurrence anyway, but he's put a giant target on his own back by talking trash to other players and then crying to the media about fans talking trash to him.

Clearly, racist remarks and such should not be tolerated, but with his whining about "Westbrick" he's made it pretty clear that he won't tolerate any type of heckling if it hurts his fee fees, no matter how G rated it is.
