Pau was really good at basketball and seems like a really great teammate and just a good person.
Great to see him honored like this and good for Jimmy Buckets for going out of his way to be a part of it.

Happy for Pau. Class-act guy and amazing basketball player. He deserves tonight’s recognition.

I love Butler, still sad that the Bulls traded him.

Goes to show you what kind of guy/teammate/player Pau Gasol was/is.

Awww. That’s awesome and very supportive.

Pau is a true class act, and an wonderful player in his prime/peak. Dude’s post game offense was beautiful to watch. Great touch around the rim, great post facilitator, and an underrated shot blocker. He also fit that Lakers like a glove from DAY 1. No training camp, no practice, not enough time to come up with many plays/schemes, and Kobe broke his finger that game. But Pau played like he was with the Lakers for years. It was uncanny.

Also of course, him and Kobe especially were truly brothers from another mother. Dude was choked up at the start and kept mentioning missing Kobe and him being an uncle for Kobe’s daughters. Nothing but love for that man.

Jimmy is awesome. Jimmy was sitting way up there too. Not court side or any of that. Just wow as a former teammate to do that on the off day. Jimmy was better than Harden in Philly. He is underrated sometimes

Pau COULD have had a Finals MVP IMO. Great player who put up with it and really made a home next to KB24 on their run. What a competitor.

But when Ja goes to a club to celebrate between games, people get all karened up.
