I had Joker for most of the season but if the season ended today i would say Embiid. Philly is streaking and Denver is fading. Embiid has really stepped up his game lately.

Weird, I thought Sixers still have to play in Denver and in Milwaukee. Embiid has a bad game / Jokic dominates that game and wins and I could see the narrative shift again.

I don't think it will matter that much and will swing the MVP votes. Embiid won the last 3 Games against Giannis/Jokic(twice against the Bucks then scored 47 points against the Nuggets) while averaging 36.7 ppg, 11.7 ppg, 7.7 apg in those games. Embiid also have the best narrative during the final stretch this season winning 8 straight games averaging 36.3 ppg while also averaging 3.3 bpg in his last 6 games providing dominant two-way impact. Still, there's 12 games left but if the season ends today, there's no way Embiid won't win the MVP.

Why would he sit out against the Bucks? He just put a freaking dagger in them in their house.

Maybe after the next game he will sit on your logo.

Huh? If there were any game he was going to sit it would be against the Hornets or the Pacers today. Those were back to back.

Embiid needs to play against Milwaukee and Boston for seeding. Denver we all know why. Phoenix isn't on a back to back, so he'll play then most likely.

He might sit the last two games of the season. Especially if seeding is already decided.

If this is your attempt at smack talking, it is pretty pathetic.

The Sixers have already won 2 out of 3 for the Bucks. The game on April 2 could potentially be for the 1 seed.

Why - EXACTLY - would Embiid sit that game out?

Do you have ANYTHING other than snark to contribute to this thread?

Got your crystal ball out have you? I asked a fair question, Embiid is known to struggle with his conditioning. Hence why he has averaged 55 games per season over a 7 year career

What are you talking about? His conditioning?

Seriously - have you been watching this past month? Does he look tired to you?

Dude. You need to do better than this.

He's averaged 55 games because he missed the first 2 seasons.

Giannis has less games this season and has been load managing for the last 3 years. This is honestly surprising from a bucks fan.

I mean we are talking about a 2 game difference, forget about the fact that Giannis has played in over 70 games half a dozen times in his career while Embiid has never managed it once yet. Embiid was clearly gassed against Miami last year, do you 76ers fans care to dispute that? We can go over the game film

So you’re saying that he could possibly get an injury before then? Well, sure, anyone could technically get an injury, but that’s an odd argument.

Based on seeding couldn't Embiid also be load managed to keep fresh for the playoffs? That's not uncommon for him, neither is getting injured in his career

Sure, seeding would determine it. Giannis for example hasn’t played the last game of the regular season since 17-18

Celtics lose. Sixers in the 2 seed.

Let’s see if that Sixers/Bucks game on April 2nd means anything.

With the Sixers win today and the Celtics/Nuggets loss, the MVP odds keep getting stronger for Embiid.

He's currently at -200 with Jokic at +330 and Giannis at +400.

At this point it's Embiid's MVP to lose.
