Giannis is the MVP of the league for me. But its close. For me its basically:

1A. Giannis
1C. Embiid

Jokic being 1B. I think Embiid means more to Philly than Giannis does to the Bucks but I'm taking seeding into the equation here. Philly somehow ends up with the 1st seed or second seed (Depending on Embiid's final numbers), then I don't see how it isn't Embiid.

What is MVP? Give me a definition so I can answer the question.

Jokic, Giannis, Luka are all ahead of Embiid.

Do we need another mvp thread? Don’t we have one stickied at the top of the page.

I feel it's close to a tie but I went with Embiid. He's been a much more efficient scorer this year. He plays a bigger role in Phili's defense.

I think Giannis is a better player and is much harder to deal with in the playoffs. But in terms of regular season output, I think Embiid's efficient production is the thing that stands out to me.

When you're a 65% ft shooter yes. Jokic efficiency not as impressive at lower volume. Also, stop following me around, you're obsessed. No one is bringing this up but you. This is about Giannis and Embiid, your boy isn't being discussed.

It's Giannis for me but I'm not gonna lie, it's hard to explain why, just a gut feel or a preference more than anything.
If you just look at strictly the numbers you're really splitting hairs between them, and Embiid is not even the kind of guy where you can say Giannis has a clear advantage on D, Embiid is also a monster at that end.
So yeah, gut feel and preference.

Embiid 35-18

Embiid is better statistically. Giannis has the record.
Give a slight edge to Giannis.

I got Giannis but its close, couldnt go wrong with Embiid. Giannis missing another game tonight. Embiid has been incredible lately. Got to give him his dues. This might be Phillys best chance with the uncertainy of Hardens future with the team after this season.

I don't even get the argument for Embiid ahead of Jokic. Worse record with Harden and Maxey. Embiid has no case.

If you aren't really in the discussion, you aren't on Giannis's level. People are full of it IMO and it's because they feel like Embiid deserves his turn when he's done nothing to earn it.
