I think it balances the roster for both teams, allows Boston to trade him if he actually wants out for someone they can continue to compete with as well because he's All NBA in his own right. Raps get a self creating big guard that can score on 3 levels and put pressure on the rim. He's the same age as OG and can easily play next to Scottie and OG for the foreseeable future. Also think he would Toronto as a city itself

Which is fine, but I'm saying this just because I don't want to hear about how "Celtics fans" hate Jaylen Brown and want to trade him. It's not the case for most of us.

basketball wise, the fits there.... the Jazz trading for jaylen brown would go miraculously poorly for them as an org though.

Ummm, why? Clarkson, Abaji and plenty 1st round picks could get it done.

Perhaps the #4, #5 or #6 pick straight up with cap space.

I'd give any 3 player depth package from the current Pistons roster, with Cunningham, Ivey, and Duren being untouchables. On top of that, I'd give the 2025 and 2026 FRP's (or whichever 2 of our next 5 years picks that are eligible). If we don't protect the picks, those are some juicy picks, but I know Boston is looking to win now, so they could either be cashed in or traded again later.

Bogey, Burks, Hayes, 25FPR, 26FRP. For example, but like I said take any three minus the untouchables.

Brown would become an amazing first option franchise player, but I'm still willing to take my chances on our current backcourt we drafted becoming franchise players vs a potential Brown rental. I'm not willing to pay the Gobert standard and gut our draft picks for 50 years. So if Boston wasn't interested in bringing back star talent and would rather receive a depth package, it's not the worst trade in the world.

BOS gets extra help on wing to replace Brown, and Dort is under a reasonable contract, he's a good defender to pair with Smart and Tatum. Mann shows signs of being a solid SG, and Poku is 2029 MVP of course. ALSO OKC trades it's immediate draft assets and returns BOS 2RP pick for next draft, which allows BOS to retool with two more young guys immediately and in next draft.
