So 5 years are in the books. At this point how would you re-draft the 2018 draft which was at the time considered a very good draft….
For me I would draft as follows (for me being a 2 way player matters, helping your team win matters as does availability.
1) SGA
2) Mikhal Bridges
3) Luka Doncic’s
4) Jalen Brunson
5) Jaren Jackson Jr
5B) Ayton.
6) Trae Young
7) Robert Williams III
8) Collin Sexton
9) Michael Porter
10) Kevin Huerter
11) Wendall Carter Jr
12) Anfernee Simons
13) Donte DiVen
14) Gary Trent.
Lots to argue about here so curious others opinion.

It would be less obvious if you spelled the players names correctly

Entire purpose of this thread is to express your dislike for Luka

So ayton isn't even in the lottery? I get he hasn't quite lived up to being a 1st overall pick, but he's still objectively top 10. Weird list

There is a bounty on Mavs right now. People coming from all corners to **** on them. Problem is, this might be the last chance they'll have for a long time. So i guess let them have their fun while they still can.

Luka is still at #1 of that draft and it's not even close

Shai definitely has the talent and ability to stop this draft from being the fellatiate Luka contest

Knicks fans are more upset about the Mavs recent decisions than I would've expected. Definitely in their feelings right now.

Lmao imagine you as GM drafting Bridges when Luka is still on the board and you already saw the future. That’s the start of the end of your NBA career.

Most people hew the battlements of life from compromise, erecting their impregnable keeps from judicious submissions, fabricating their philosophical drawbridges from emotional retractions and scalding marauders in the boiling oil of sour grapes.

Probably something like this for redrafting the lottery:
Luka
SGA
JJJ
Mikal Bridges
Trae
Brunson
RW3
MPJ
Miles Bridges (if we pretend off-the-court stuff never happened)
Ayton
WCJ
Simons
Huerter
Mitch Robinson

When I saw your post I knew it had to do something with the Kings, and I guess that ties into your low ranking of Doncic (no 's).
While I agree if he plays as he did this season thereafter the Kings would look a lot less foolish than if he had continued on a potential top 5 path, one season is premature to speculate that

Fair enough. Yeah I wasn’t sure what to do with Miles Bridges and crap I forgot Ayton.

It’s my opinion and a message board. And Luka isn’t the only player who fails to play any defense in that draft. No one has mentioned where I put Trae.
It’s a unique and fascinating draft because you have legitimate all NBA defensive type players in JJJ and Rob Williams and you have all NBA offensive players like Trae and Luka. And then you have a few guys like Brunson and Bridges who one can say are two way players but not as elite either defensively or offensively.
Depending on what people value you can go in lots of different directions in this draft.
