By the way, I know our fanbases talk a lot of **** to one another, but some of you on BOTH sides are skating the rules. Do not make broad generalizations about fanbases and do not make personal attacks. This is not the Knicks board or the Heat board so keep that out of this thread.

Do not force me to clean this thread and hand out strikes.

I am begging y'all. Please. I love the banter and back & forth.

He'll be back.

Even with Butler, I expect a battle. Their role players have stepped up and ours still haven't. Martin, Stus, Vincent, Robinson, Lowry, Love... As you say, we need to get out on them. With that, if one or both of Grimes/Quickley arrives in this playoffs things get very interesting. We'll have a tough time taking it without respect coming to the shooters. The amount of respect they give Randle was also encouraging in that regard. We had a little more time to shoot last game.

It's funny you don't mention Tyler Herro 2 best score and Dipo defense all out. Down 2 great players and one old allstars.
And by the way 8 yes 8 undrafted players and you barely won last night game. You play with all your players and 6 guys on the court at the same time Scott WF Foster... Talking all that Sh_T!

Lets get something cleared up.

Randle - played hurt, ankle
Brunson - played hurt, was questionable for this game. Lousy first half.
Josh Hart - hurt, back
Grimes - coming back from his shoulder in a sling. Might be affecting his shoulder.
Quick - Lets just call him Brick. Immanuel Brickley. He's not hitting anything.

Knicks got some calls in the end. Heat got some free no calls as well.

We're not the ones talking shat, HEAT FANS ARE. OK, probably some on both sides are, but if you go to the knicks board, what most people are saying on the Knicks board is that the Knicks need to play better and that Thibs needs to make better adjustments. Most Knick fans are disappointed in how we played, which . . . isn't talking shat. But if I had a dollar for every time a heat fan said "we played better" I could retire.

I hope both teams get healthy. Game one - Knicks were missing a key player. Forced to play small ball and Brunson didn't show up - yuck. Game two, Knicks didn't play great. Heat played better for the players they had, but shorthanded. Cry refs if you want but the Knicks took over the 2nd half of the 4th. Dominated.

Time will tell if Miami resting their hurt players vs NY playing their hurt players was the way to go.

Still 5 games left. One game each. What I really want is for both teams to get healthy and for this series to have some good games. 2 ugly and missing key player games so far. I also want the Knicks to win, but before that happens, I'd like to see some good games with both teams at or near full strength.

Miami played a great series against Milwaukee. Knicks played a great series against Cleveland. One game each. To me, this series hasn't started yet. Lets see if NY can steal a game in Miami. 5 game series, home court advantage - Heat.

Excited to see Jimmy versus the mid 3, even if Jimmy guards Jalen & Ju simultaneously that still leaves RJ...who the Heat just can't handle.

Just need to snag one in Miami and we've got HCA back!

Heh so true.

At this point, everyone who is playing is hurt or is too hurt to play. Yeah, it sucks when one team has more injuries than the other. But what do you expect the opponent to do? Rest their guys to even the odds? Nah, you still try to win and you hope your team is the one that comes up on top.

Funniest thing is the only reason why they beat Bucks is because they gained an extra confidence when Giannis got hurt. When he came back, it was too late. Injuries are apart of the game, that is why we have 15 man rosters.

Whatever happen Sunday or Tuesday does not matter anymore. Its practically a brand new best out of 5 series. The game is gonna feel totally different on Saturday.

Spo has been coaching circles around Thibs, lets see what adjusments he makes

Most teams get pretty thin at the end of their 15 man rosters, or they have specialists. This is where 9th or 10th man depth really comes in handy.

Thibs isn't playing McBride. I'm not sure why. Sims is rough, but at least he's big. If he was healthy, he might have helped a little in game one but he's out for the playoffs. If he'd gotten surgery before the end of the regular season they could have brought in another free agent big, or maybe Carmelo Anthony, but Noooooo, Sims had to wait to get on the playoff roster and then have surgery.

I don't follow the heat closely, but they seem to have that depth going down to their 9th and 10th men, which is why they showed up and competed game two.

Oh, and yes. Spo outcoached Thibs big time. I like Thibs, but sometimes he looks like he doesn't have a clue what he's doing.

The Knicks 8-9 player depth was a strength all season, but with a few hurt players and Quick & Grimes forgetting how to shoot, the Knicks look thin right now. Obi's a fun regular season player sometimes, but he lacks the toughness and defense to be helpful in this series. Knicks for the first time this year, feel a little too thin. The Heat seem to have the depth to fill in the holes in their lineup. Maybe that's all the coach, but I think it's the players too.

Anyway . . . I hope both teams get a bit healthier. I hope Quick and Grimes break out of their slumps and maybe we'll have a good series. I don't think the first 2 games have met the criteria for a "good series".

We'd have had to sign someone two months ago for them to have been able to appear in the playoffs for us.

And McBride isn't playing because we needed to shoot Miami out of their zone.
