This is the only basketball we have. We all want a prolonged series (besides Heat fans, of course).
It's at least going 6 if Boston hold on here.

Oh, sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear
Sing it with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away
Dream on

From the great mind that brought you the "Warriors invitational" thread.

Talk after game 5…

If the Celtics win that game then the heat’s butt cheeks will get really tight. As of right now, Heat shouldn’t be too concerned

If this series re-started today, with a 0-0 slate, who would you guys pick to win?

I'd take the Celtics in 6. I still view them as the significantly better team despite going through a funk.

I dunno, I have a feeling this is the time. Game 5 at home, if they win, basically puts sooooooo much pressure on a mediocre Heat team at home in Game 6.

I guess I'm still a Heat non-believer even though I very much want the Heat to win this series.

I know if they win in Boston everyone is gonna hop on the Celtic bandwagon.

“Butler is a fraud”
“Spo is overrated”
“Apologize to Tatum here”
“Can we give Joe Mazulla credit?”

I doubt it, but I did say the other day if a team was ever going to come back from 3-0 it would make sense it would be Boston since on paper they are a much better team and are the 2 seed going against the 8 seed.

Problem for them is all it takes is one game in 4 for Butler to be playoff Jimmy and it is over. Tonight wasn't his night, but he just needs one in the next 3 and I wouldn't bet against Butler having 4 bad games in a row in the playoffs.

Agree with this. The Heat shooting 48% from three had to be unsustainable, but it's probably too late at this point. Even with regression to mean shooting, Miami still has the best player in the series, and by far the best coach, and only has to win one out of 3 more games with those advantages. I'm expecting Miami in 6 but prepared for anything.

Just the variance in 3 point shooting makes this extemely improbable for Celtics to win 4 in a row. This may still end up going 6 games though.

Cool story bro.

You know what Miami needs the most right now? They need disrespectful fuel like this.

It could happen. At the end of the day, Miami is a team of Butler and undrafted dudes and tomato cans. Dudes are playing well but ultimately don't have the talent. This is a talent driven league

Had already heard it so definitely didn't hear it here first.
Also, the Heat still look like the better team to me.
If Boston can keep going ham from 3 they have a chance, however, and you can't rule that out.

They'd had an amazing run and have played some tremendous ball but I'm not gonna believe until they get their fourth win in the Finals. They've played so, so far over their heads for weeks now.
