It’s not a 3-0 series. It’s a 3-1 series. Thirteen teams have come back from that. It’s just very unlikely.

Eventually some team is gonna come back from 3-0. Just inevitable that it happens at some point. Who says it can’t be us!!! Just gotta go one game at a time.

i think it will be 50-50, and only that high because no team has come back from 0-3

I dunno, I have a feeling this is the time. Game 5 at home, if they win, basically puts sooooooo much pressure on a mediocre Heat team at home in Game 6.

I'm picking the Heat.
Still think Boston's shot selection isn't great, but when they go in it looks good of course.
Also think their defensive effort is way too inconsistent.
Even putting aside the up and down shooting that has so far favored Miami, Miami legit looks like the better team to me.
Of course if Tatum can stay in superstar mode and the rest of the Celtics continue to hit their 3s, they can beat anyone.

Three teams have forced a game seven after being down three games to zero. All of those teams lost game seven. Even if the Celtics win the next two, the Heat could easily win this series in a seventh game. It’s highly unlikely it even goes seven.

One might argue that if there's a situation where a team is down 3-0 and successfully comes back.. this could be the time, Boston is clearly more talented than Miami. But they were down 3-0 for a reason, they were super flaky against Atlanta. They probably won't make 3 straight performances like tonight.

They are in a situation where they need a miracle and that's never a good spot to be in. Too little, too late.

Longest win streak for Boston this playoffs has been 2 games; once against Atlanta and twice against Philly.

Do we expect them to put together a 4 game win streak against Miami? They're 25% there but the law of probability would suggest that they'll have a rough patch at least once this week. One Miami player getting injured would definitely increase those odds though.

It is actually. The odds of getting a heads four times in a row is 1/16. If you flip a heads on the first try, the odds of getting a heads on the next three tries is 1/8.
