LeBron played with a torn tendon in foot for 2 months

Post#1 » by Mean_Streets » Fri May 26, 2023 2:41 am

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was playing through a torn tendon in his right foot which may require surgery in the offseason, according to Shams Charania. James will have his foot re-evaluated in the near future, and if a surgical procedure is required it would sideline him for two months.

And? He was on the floor. He sought and found the ‘LeBron of feet’. I’m a LeBron fan since svsm but don’t troll like this. Just enjoy the rest of his career, we won’t have another like him. What’s done is done.

But... I was told that the LeBron James of feet said LeBron was the fastest healer on earth, so there should be only minor damage.

Here we go.

Lebron was also mentally hurt when his cat skipped a meal.

Performed just fine when he came back to end the regular season: 25/8/6 (just 32 mpg) on 49/40/84

But yes, we ALL knew this news would be leaked as soon as his season ended.

Given how much Lebron played up the injury, needing to find the "Lebron of feet" just so he could play, etc., if it turns out he doesn't even require surgery then he's fair game for a decent amount of mockery.

You’re absolutely hilarious. Have you considered a career in stand up?

Must be embarrassing for you that your team lost to LeBron with a broken foot.

Tell me you don’t know how foot injuries work without telling me anything about foot injuries. Rest is the answer.

You’re a bigger idiot on here than ‘WarriorGM’. He was second in production prior to his injury and he was a negative when he returned and very apparent in the playoffs. First step gone.

Torn tendon for months, and might retire.

Suddenly, I can't remember what happened against the Nuggets. What a coincidence.

Lol it's definitely not. Turns out you need a role player to show up for that to happen. And Lebron was obviously moving fine. Not sure if you caught the Warriors this season, but I wasn't exactly singing a championship tune.

What was my primary comment before the series? "We're playing for who gets beat down by the Nuggets. GL". That was before the Nuggets/Suns series as well mind you. Nailed it.

If the injury isn't serious, yes. The reporting on this was the injury was so serious that Lebron had to decide whether to get surgery in season or wait until the off season. I'm just going by the reporting which came from Lebron.

It's definitely true though. Even NBA players can attest to that. There have been games where he sprains his ankle badly and then simply readjusts the ligaments with his hands and plays that game and the next one too.

So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

personally I am impressed Lebron didn't wear a walking boot to the post game. But he was obviously injured so this isn't really news except he wants it to be, again.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….
