yup
at the beginning of the game, Jokic is looking primarily to pass and I think he's too consistent about that, I mean that's a flaw that can be exploited. He literally starts every game looking for everyone else but himself
Heat need to be ready and stay on the shooters and cutters as they are the real target in the first quarter
Jamal for example knows that too, first plays of the game first dribble hand off you know Jamal ain't passing back..that should be in the scouting report
Jokic should mix that up more, he's become too predicatable in that regard
if the Heat start slow again from outside and the Nuggets are rolling with Jokic feeding everyone I think Spo will just do what Ham did and move Bam off Jokic, or go with a bigger lineup or more realistically imo - he'll try to force the joker to be a scorer which means, Bam on Jokic mostly in single cover. try to make him give up his dribble and stay on everyone.
if the Heat do a good job on the passing lanes and staying with the cutters, we might just see a 40+ Pts Jokic game. while everyone (including Spo) obviously know that Jokic is perfectly capable of doing it, I think he's still gonna go for it because he doesn't have many good options and if he can combine forcing the Joker to be a scorer on one end while constantly making him work and take contact on defense - Heat have a decent shot of stealing game 2, imo. even if it means a monster game from him indivudually
wasn't so long ago when PHX won game 4, making the series 2-2 while "holding" Jokic to 53 pts on 30 shots
30 is a long way from 12
