You're more of a Skip guy I take it. Seems fitting.

That would be ideal, so I can know to avoid the show entirely.

That's funny how Shannon Sharpe read a monologue that asked Skip Bayless to take down a tweet, and then got outraged when Skip interrupted him.... What did he think would happen? Nobody would stay quiet in that situation, let alone Skip. Looks like a set-up.

You know who they should get Jim Rome. Two of most arrogant pricks ever on tv. That would be the most unwatchable train wreck ever. Lol

I kind of liked them together. Wonder if Skip regrets not going back to ESPN when it was offered now.

I really enjoy Shannon Sharpe. He's funny but has some really well thought out takes when he gets serious. I always thought they diminished him by putting him with a clown like skip. He needs to be on first take way more than Kendrick Perkins lol

The need to eliminate Nick Wrong. The absolute worst.

Re: Shannon Sharpe leaving FS1 and ending partnership with Skip Bayless
Shannon Sharpe is charismatic. Not many people on mainstream talk shows that are. Doesn't say anything wildly off base with regards to basketball takes that I've seen either. Has clear fanship with certain players (LeBron) but adds to his personality and memability. I think he'll find a new job easily. He stands out amongst other casual sports talk show hosts that come off dull and unalive.
I feel similarly about JJ Reddick. Charismatic but in a different way. I don't see him as a super serious analyst as some people do or think his insight into basketball is all that great aside from being able to share personal experiences. But a good personality and you can tell he has a pure interest in what he's talking about. I've watched 4-5 videos from his podcasts and find them easy to watch and the discussions themselves do lead to good insight.
Gilbert Arenas is another guy like that from watching his podcasts. Not an incredible analyst or anything, although like JJ can give you various insights that non-NBA players can't, but charismatic personality. Extends himself with some of his takes every once in a while and will say whatever he feels. His energy comes off more like a school lunch table talk with the boys but the guy at the table is from the NBA.
I think with all these podcasts coming out, it's easier to see what former athletes would do well in these type of tv roles and how they would fit in different dynamics.

It's amazing he lasted this long. I thought Skip at least respected the HoF all time great TE, at his worst top 5 in NFL history, and really somewhere in the top 3. I don't watch the show and only saw some clips on youtube, so I really didn't know.
Maybe Skip and Max Kellerman can do a show now, they should force Steven A. and Skip Bayless onto a show together, and we can see which one succeeds.

Oh Fox will sorely miss him. He's the one that actually promoted the show and engaged on social media... Which he's better at than anything. ESPN needs to dive in to get him.
Skip does seem to bring a sense of seriousness and drama to these shows that no one else quite does... Except when SAS really gets into it, and not just hanging with different friends each day talking about clothes

Broussard and Skip had a show together back in the days already, didnt they? I remember a bit, where they draft a starting five of first overall picks. Best and Worst.
