Simple question: Should Dray and Klay make the Hall of Fame?

What are your reasons for and against?

Both get in. Their 4 chips and connection to the Warriors dynasty does it for me. They have the minimum ASG to be considered (4 for Dray and 5 for Klay) and have some Gold Medals on the the international side to bolster their resume. Funny thing is that I think Dray has a better shot considering his college resume and 8x Defensive nods + the DPOY award.

I don't think either guy is a first ballot but they would get in eventually.

Both get in, but they should both go in wearing #30 jerseys because they wouldn't be sniffing it without him as a teammate.

Draymond is a clown. As of HoF, who cares? He's still a clown.

Draymond doesn't deserve it based purely on numbers but the 4 rings and riding Steph's coattails will take him there. Basketball hof is rather easy to get into so they both will make it unfortunately

HOF standards have gone down considerably over the years, so based on that, I have no problem with them making it

The basketball HOF takes into consideration college, pro and olympic basketball so Draymond is a lock IMO. Klay will prolly make it too just because.

Is this a serious question? It's the basketball hall of fame. Look at some of the names that get in.

I asked previously if Kyle Lowry and Kevin Love should be in the Hall of Fame. I'm interested in seeing the reasoning of people.

As of the current 8 votes for neither deserving, the Warriors clearly traumatized them. That’s okay, they’ll still get in.

Do they deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, given the caliber of players who make it in? Absolutely, there are way worse players in the HoF.

Can you tell the story of the NBA without mentioning Draymond or Klay? No way.

They 100% make it, and they 100% deserve it.

Both get in, championships aside, they both have had good careers, as always not the NBA HOF, the BASKETBALL HOF (College, FIBA, etc):

4x AS, 1 2nd Team NBA, 1 3rd Team NBA, DPOY, 4x 1st Team All-DEF, 4x 2nd Team All-DEF, NABC Player of the Year *College, All-American, 2x Gold Medalist, 1x NBA Steals Leader

5x AS, 2x 3rd Team NBA, 1x 2nd Team All-DEF, NBA All-ROOK, 3x Gold Medalist, 3pt Contest Win, 3 NBA Records

If Klay gets in then so does Kiki Vanderwege, Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford, Stackhouse, Antawn Jamison, Grant Hill, Michael Finley, Mitch Richmond and Dale Ellis.

Draymond yes because of defense and effect on a winning team.

I'd say Dray more so because of his individual accolades but yes, both of them. Quite easily. They've been core players on a team that's won 4 chips in 6 trips to the finals since the mid-10s. Klay's one of the GOAT shooters with multiple records under his belt.

How do they not get in?

Draymond’s the best defensive player in the modern era and the second most important player on a dynasty. Klay’s… a really good shooter who got to play on a great team. I’m sure they’ll both go in, but I feel like Dray’s the only one who deserves it. He was a top 5 player and was good for longer. Klay was maybe top 15 or 20 in his peak season and he had a lot shorter peak too.

I feel like this is an obvious yes.

This would be like not putting Pippen and Rodman in the HoF.

Key pieces to a dynasty. They make it, no questions.

If you say they don't then you must have Steph as the GOAT. There's no other explanation

Klay would get in more for being a key part of a dynasty. He’d be comparable to a James Worthy or a KC Jones or a Tony Parker. He’s definitely not there on individual achievement but he could get there for being a major part of 4 championships.
