Kobe is Hero by Nickelback. Even the name represents Kobe's style of play; hero ball. It's a song that labours under the delusion that people need to sit back and wait for a hero to save them, rather than heroes being an inherently dangerous concept that corrupts anyone delusional to identify as one. It's also the sort of thing that sounds good the first time you hear it, but the more you're subjected to it the worse it gets. Purports to be edgy, but is actually pretty basic and lazy. Despite these flaws, there is a hardcore fan base who defend them no matter what. The analogy isn't perfect, because I don't think any of the band has ever been in trouble with the law, but as a song it fits like a glove.
