In your opinion, what do you think are biggest What if's in NBA history?

1) What if Jordan hand a real rival, a few interesting names passed away young. That could "slowed" Jordan's Championship outburst.
Boston combo of Len Bias and Reggie Lewis
Drazen Petrovic
Ben Wilson
Hank Gathers

2) What if Arydas Sabonis came over in 1986,or even in 1989. He could also be Jordan's rival.
Him and Cliff Robinson, having bigs that hit threes from your big back then, could changed the game early 90s to the mid 2000s.

Do you think the young, Big Kids of those day would have learned that style?
Maybe high school and college Bigs pick up on some of the characteristics to add to their game?
Shaq, Robinson, Coleman, Mourning, Mutumbo, JO, Sheed, Duncan, KG, McDyess, Camby, Dirk , Yao, Dwight, Hibbert ect.

Coaches changing their styles.

Think of what the NBA landscape could've been.

Easily what if KD stayed with the Warriors.

No doubt they win 6 straight titles.

What if Greg Oden and Brandon Roy were healthy? Those Blazers teams in 2008-10 had
talent for nobody ever said GO could not play when healthy and those teams had
Marcus Camby, Andre Miller and a lot of youth with Aldridge, Batum, Martell Webster.

Unfortunately for GO and Portland, GO broke his leg, 21 games into the season.

what if all of us hadn't spent all these hours/days/months out of our lives watching and talking about a children's game?

Would Philly have a ring if they’d kept Jimmy Butler?

I always thought if Barkley had gotten traded to the Lakers in 1992 (He actually did but Sixers retracted the trade), then I believe there was a scenario where Magic returns to play with prime Barkley. Supposedly Magic tried to get Barkley to the Lakers and to make the deal happen. Why court Barkley to the Lakers unless Magic wanted to play with him? Magic was still easily a legit top five player when he retired at 31.They would have dropped on the same team in the middle of the Bulls dynasty run. Don't ask me how salary would work, but Stern would let it happen anyway. Even in 1991 Magic was good enough to take Lakers to the title game. Magic was in great shape on the Dream Team and would have been ready to play. That team would have been legit threat to take down the Bulls. No way Magic and Barkley don't make the finals. That's a wrap, so you would have Magic/Barkely vs Jordan/Pippen in 1993 in the finals. Assuming the trade is for Worthy and some other assets, the Lakers could have put together a serious roster with Magic, Barkley, A.C. Green, Byron Scott, young Doug Christie, Vlade Divac, etc. Basically, the roster they made the finals with in 91, but swapping Worthy for Barkley. That team would have had a lot of talent and experience, so it would not have been easy for the Bulls.

Better one is what if never left OKC.

Even better is what if they hadn’t traded Harden.

What if Portland went against the grain and picked Durant?

For some reason his game drew me into NBA fandom way back in the day.

They already lost one before KD left. What are you talking about. Way better is if he stayed in okc
