Just pre-ordered NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition (ps4).
Got it for $69 (australian dollars) and free postage on amazon australia!
While on ebay australia the cheapest was $120 (australian dollars).
Its very important that you buy this, because Brandon Miller, Scoot Henderson, Victor Wembanyama are not in any of the previous versions.

This is going to be more fun than any other game I've ever played.
Because usually I make a league with the draft pool of current players AND all-time players.
The problem with that was it made every team too similar in talent level, so the games were all similar.
This time I'm only including the current players (with the exception of adding MJ and Shaq).

Yes because I’m a huge sucker. But it’s beyond annoying how little work they put into the games year over year. The franchise mode has gotten worse as they focus on the myplayer stuff to coax people into micro transactions.

Why not? Eventually you gon find it in the online store for cheap and you gon need them updated rosters and the version you have and said you was gon stop at won’t be as active online those late nights u feel like hopping online and runnin a game or two so yeah I’ll b pickin it up I just won’t be in no rush those games already deep enough I’m just getting it for the rosters these days and activity

Its all done in a draft, so its completely fair.
The only unfair part is that I'm fixing the draft so the Bulls have the #1 pick.
And I might not get all 6 players, because they might be taken already.... but I will get MJ for certain.
But will Zion still be on the board by the time I have my 2nd choice? Maybe not, so maybe my 2nd choice will have to be Wembanyama.

Last 2K I bought was 2K18... If I upgrade to a PS5 or new Xbox I'd consider buying the new 2K, but a word to the wise...

Don't bother with buying 2K at launch... They almost always ship broken / buggy so you're better off waiting a month or two for the first patch to hit and for the fall / winter sale season to take off...

Only a sucker would buy 2K at full price.

Maybe but I wont like it and its not like its going to be better this year just more microtransaction bs for game modes I dont play, they drop the price pretty fast.

Zion is 16th on the ratings ladder, so no chance of me drafting him with my 2nd choice, so looks like Wambanyama (64th best player) will be my 2nd choice....

Do people realize college basketball/football would be more fun than these pro sports games?

Imagine having a my career mode coming out of highschool where you work your way up as the #1 recruit in the nation. It would be so much more fun.

Honestly no because franchise mode has remained static and boring.

I find Madden and theShow to be much more entertaining to play.
