I was critical than Colangelo couldn't get even 1 superstar for 2019 FIBA World Cup roster. That was terrible roster construction job, the team US sent was F team. Not even 1 top 5 USA player at any position then. Let's see what Grant Hill works out for this year's World Cup.
Nice roster so far. Four players from my top 5 of each position. Better roster than in 2019. USA will win gold this time.

You still either don't get it ir in your fashion shifting goals to your narrative, we were not debating which tournament was better, we were talking which was more prestigious, and it's no debatable, Olympic FIBA is FAR FAR more prestigious sadly. You think me, as huge basketball fan wouldn't want to real basketball wc where everything about only basketball was more prestigious, of course I would, but it isn't, even just a niche of basketball fans care about this thing, and me lying to myself and everyone your style, won't change facts.
Now which tournament is actually better, now that IS debatable. I personally like that wc has a lot of teams, but a lot of people could argue half of these teams shouldn't be here at all and it just makes everything boring. We had 16 games so far, I believe only two were remotely close.

FIBA World Cup is better tournament than FIBA Olympics. More games, longer tournament. It's a shame that FIBA couldn't promote World Cup and now it's one year from Olympics and there are a lot of snubs.

I hate that games overlap tho. But that's just a state of game popularity sadly, no country or chanell could sustain interest showing every game, ala Football, for a month. Personally I would love that but I'm in few percent tile os sports fans who care about FIBA the most.

Well done Banchero, great for you to show what us Magic fans have gotten to see all season. Hope he continues to get time to produce on the world stage.
Haliburton is so fun to watch, pacers lucky to have such a great true point guard to lead the show.

Patty to score 25+ in an Aussie win paying $6.75 might be worth a look if you think the 3p shot comes back. He hit 25 last game with only 2/8 from 3.
Australia only -4.5 favourites after Franz injury.

I heard Franz was fine, however, Brazilian Raul Neto is done for the tournament sadly, first wc loss due to serious injury.

It's a shame Milutinov never came to the NBA after being drafted could have easily been a 10/10 with above average D and decent passing big.

Every time KAT gets the ball and steps inside, he draws double and his team finds open shots. Catch is, KAT almost never does this.

Confirmed out for the match against Australia, but perhaps they might rest him to beat Finland and advance in 2nd in the pool anyway

Datome, in an another life, would be a guitarist for a indie band based in Oregon
Anyway great defensive effort by italy. Important not to let DR shooters warm up
