Once again, It is time for Filthadelphia's annual Top 25 Player poll this offseason.

(Filthadelphia, if you want to take over again, go for it. I just wanted to get it finished before preseason. In any case, this will probably be the last year I can do it for a while).

Your favorite offseason debate is back by popular demand!
Thanks to everyone who voted last go around I'm excited to see where the 6th annual edition ends up.

Here are the Rules:
-Vote ONE player per poll. You'll be able to change your vote just like in previous years so you can self-implement rank choice voting.
-The criteria of ranking the players is YOUR OWN. The whole point of bringing this to the GB is to attract the widest amount of votes/perspectives on the game as possible to form a true consensus. Some people value shooting over defense, team success over individual prowess etc. Filthadelphia wanted to bake all that into this poll set no matter how chaotic.
-Each poll a player will win and then be taken out of the field. There will be 25 polls in all.
-There are only 10 possible poll options so I will start with last year's Top 10.
-As each poll commences I ask you to COMMENT IN THE THREAD your vote for who should be added in the next poll. There will be a large list of players yet to be added to the field below that you can look over to make your vote. I will tally up the votes in the comments at the end of each poll and add the winner accordingly. For example, if you want Xavier Tillman added in the next poll just comment "Nominate: Xavier Tillman"
-If a poll is overwhelmingly skewed towards one guy I will try, time willing, to edit it early and move on to the next one.
-If there is a tie in the poll. There will be a run-off poll created with just the tying parties to determine a winner. The losers of the runoff will then be added back into the field of 10 for the next poll.
-Feel free to ask any questions via pm or comment
-Feel Free to comment on your reasoning for a pick and why

I'm not convinced they maximize each other's talents, but they are both very highly skilled and it's about time for both of them.

As I said last thread, I love Hali but absolutely shocked he’s that high.

Give me Fox here. I think he made a noticeable improvement last year and then took another leap in the playoffs even when playing through an injury. Expecting a big year from him.

This vote is tough: I don't really trust PG in the playoffs and he's not getting any younger. Bridges is tempting but it seems like a little bit of a stretch to put him this high. If Siakam was a better shooter he'd be a no brainer here but he isn't. Ja is already looking at missing at least 25 games next season. Zion playing in 25 games seems like a reasonable over/under for him. Fox, Mitchell, Sabonis, Murray, and Young are all defensive liabilities though Murray's playoff history still makes him tempting. Fine, I'll vote for Siakam but not with a strong feeling or anything

Between PG, Mitchell and Ja for me. I know Ja will miss a significant part of next season, but this is a spot where he sould be seriously considered. But I will stay with PG.

I just can't see the reasoning that Paul George will have a better year than Fox or Mitchel given what we have seen from him the past few years. I'm surprised he is winning right now.

Paul George leading the poll, while Jaylen Brown who is already a better player than him at this point of time, is still not in the poll. I find this funny, but will nominate Jaylen nevertheless.

How are you so convinced Brown is much better? His lack of handle severely limits his offensive upside. I dont see a strong argument for regular season. in the playoffs Browns most noteworthy performance is 8 turnovers in the first playoff game of his career where he couldnt rely on Tatum to carry the load. PG has his health concerns, but he's had some impressive playoff performances. At this range the gap between players is small, even if they are far apart on the list.
