High Clyde went out to grab some booze when 22 down. And when he arrives, they made a comeback. What is he going to do with all those beverages? Save them for the playoff collapse come April?

Not at all, I watched the whole 4th quarter, man.

Now it's 8:35pm here in Brazil, I'm gonna prepare me some "baurus".

French bread, mozzarella, ham, sliced tomatoes, all grilled.

I'll send you a pic via PM when I'm finished eating.

Before opening, I was hoping for some gossip like an online fight where they got warnings. Instead you made me hungry. ;)

Banana boat, realGM edition.

All you guys need is a few 3&D veterans clickbaiters and you're title contenders.

I didn't know what a cuban sandwich was, had to look it up. And it's basically the same thing!

After posting the pics I noticed they didn't do justice to how good the "baurus" looked and tasted.

So I found a video with a guy actually doing them:

Here you can see the original "bauru" recipe (4'00'' in the video), and the later, much cheaper recipe (it's the most popular sandwich in Brazil), 6'10'' in the video. Just follow what the guy does and you're set, it's very easy and quick.

At 6'55'' in the video you can see a guy in the background thinking about his life after eating a "bauru".

Later on the video the youtuber does a gourmet version of the sandwich too.

Now the last thing I'd like to comment, if you guys from all over the world try to do this sandwich, it might be hard to find the right type of bread shown in the video.

It's called "pão francês" (french bread) here, but I searched for this term in Google Images, it showed me a different type.

The french bread here is like this:

Image

Why is it important to use this bread in a "bauru"? It's because when grilled, this bread becomes extremely crunchy. So substitute accordingly if you can't find it where you live.

That's it. Have a good sunday and thanks for reading my masterchef class.

PS: I won't even start writing about other recipes you can do with the "pão francês", like the "choripan"...

Wow they don’t do cuban sandwiches in the bay? french bread and cuban bread are way different and also mojo pork is goat tier. Those brazil sandwiches look pretty great tho.

already 12 messages in, and we still don't have anything Jokic vs Embiid related, which is a violation of General Board rules and should be enough to lock this thread.

So GSWFan1994, what do you think, would adding 3L of Coca Cola make Jokic come to your dinner? (though I guess he grew with something like RC Cola or a local brand)
And then I guess Embiid will duck that dinner with Jokic, and will wait for a dinner with someone like Cody Zeller or Alex Len instead.

Lighten up, BruttoNostra.
That’s the point. Do you really worry the mods must killjoy every thread?

Dead threads are more inappropriate, offensive or anti-PC remarks here.

I don't know, I live in Brazil.

Yes, very different kind of breads, I don't know if the brazilian one is actually made in the US. Is it? I guess only in selected spots, by brazilian local shop owners.

Brutto, I believe Jokic stopped drinking Coca Cola. Now it's our turn to make him start drinking the amazing "Guaraná Jesus".

You have a sharp sense of humour. I was blindly thinking you were serious. It proved I missed your comedy in the subject.

And to ALL:
On a serious note, I'm coming to the US of A in a couple of weeks, but the city is non-NBA - Pittsburgh, PA. Any basketball-related activities? Like, some good pickup game to join?
(A trip to Cleveland would be too long for the meh games on the dates of my stay)
Non-basketball stuff is welcome as well, beyond the regular boring stuff I'll find in google.
