Lakers Surpass Celtics for Greatest Franchise

Post#1 » by Heej » Sun Dec 10, 2023 4:52 am

Lakers-Celtics were tied 17-17 in Championships but with the IST Cup the Lakers are officially head and shoulders over the Celtics. They beat the team that creamed the Celtics no pause.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

How much must Adam Silver love LeBron at this point?

Major superstar athlete and celebrity whose been the face of the league for 20 years.

First year of the play-in tournament, LeBron makes it a success.

First year of the in-season tournament, LeBron makes it a success.

Added to the fact that lakers won chips in the 2010s and 2020, imo they are the top franchise
No matter what value you give to the ist it still breaks the 17-17 tie
And I don't like the lakers.

I’m calling it.

This is all a troll parody.

You’ve been at it for at least several days and I commend you on your commitment to the troll.

Well done.

You thought ahead regarding the IST and laid the foundation for a detailed and almost believable troll. You put in much more thought and effort than most.

Lakers Surpass Celtics for Greatest Franchise

Post#10 » by xinxin » Sun Dec 10, 2023 5:13 am

From a 2017 Bleacher Report article ..

So this was before the Lebron/AD and the bubble ring; plus last year’s western conference finals run…

Not to mention that the Lakers are more valuable than the Celtics franchise.. $6.4B to $4.7B

I would subtract two championships for winning the bubbles finals and add two for the in-season tournament, so we're still tied at 17-17.

While we’re at it, let’s cancel out the rings prior to the ABA-NBA merger.. let’s see who comes out on top..

That’s 6 less for the Lakers
& 12 less for the Celtics.. ?

I don't actually have a stake in this or feel strongly about it whatsoever.

Don’t 5 of the Lakers titles belong to a city that isn’t LA?

Do not forget about the Summer League title the Lakers won years ago.

The Celtics has won 1 championship in the past 3 decades.

Let that sink in. This historical franchise talk is just that. In the modern era the Celtics are just another franchise.

Lakers been winning championships in every era except the 90's.

Lakers 17.5 championships, Celtics 17.

Numbers don’t lie.
