Interesting. Looks like Silver may have finally grown a spine. I suspect a long suspension for this, though I think they should’ve just come right out with it instead of stalling imo.

Either way, the Warriors dynasty is barely standing on its feet at the moment, as they’re currently the 11-seed in the West with a 10-13 record, and are 3 games back of the Play-In Tournament. Klay looks washed and Curry is growing frustrated with his team’s performance so far. This could be the final blow to their season, and really, their Big-3 era.

Potentially pretty brutal, but honestly deserved. I will be interested to see what the NBA decides to settle on for the final number, moving forwards. I personally believe a twenty game suspension (nothing more) would offer him a fair opportunity to get it together while still sending a message, but we will see.

He needs to just come out and apologize. Just say yes I lost my cool and I'm sorry. I think that's what the league wanted him to do before handing him the punishment and I think that's right. He needs to show remorse or otherwise next time he's gonna clothesline someone or whatever.

5-10 games while they chat with him about how his behavior is a detriment to how the league wants to be publicly represented.

It'll look way worse if he is suspended any longer than Ja Morant or Miles Bridges.

He's going to have a therapy session, talk to Adam Silver and be back in 5 games.

The only way he might learn is if they come down like a tonne of bricks every time. It's become comical how much he gets away with. It's basketball, not fighting (and if it was Dray would get pounded on all the time, he only goes after people he knows are too self controlled to swing back).

Seems like they're simply suspending him until making a decision on the terms. Otherwise, he can play tomorrow. Am I wrong?

Probably one very serious meeting the commish, a couple of slaps on the wrist by Kerr - in addition to 7-8 games of suspension.

Bonus Requirement:

I wonder if the league first wants to see how GSW behaves in the next 10-15 games.

If GSW keeps losing and starts tanking, they help GSW by suspending Green for the whole season while looking extra tough in the process without upsetting anyone.

If GSW keeps fighting for a play-in spot, they call a reasonable 20-30 game suspension.

My guess is this going to be much less actual games than people were predicting.
