Holmgren - “I haven’t proved s**t. I’ve only played in thirty games”. I love this kid’s attitude. Fearless with a well-balanced combination of humility and confidence. He’s got some Larry Bird in him and is going to be a lot of fun to watch for the next 10-15 years.

Okc is a surefire contender for the next 5 years at least.

I like that attitude. He's just getting started, I hope he stays healthy and make the most of that potential.

Before the season started I had a lot of question marks about him, the way he's been playing, and with his attitude?

I don't have any doubts anymore. I am a big fan.

OKC is in a great place with SGA and Chet, they're going to be contenders soon, and they're going to be there for a long time.

No doubt. Their rebuild has been pretty dang impressive. Chet seems like a cool kid.

What he shouldn't do is bulk up too much. He just needs to gradually build muscle, but he needs to remain lean and light. There have been plenty of great players that were lean, but still very strong.

Then again, some guys study what to say publicly and then contradict themselves either in moments of candor or by their actions.

Holmgren definitely doesn't seem like one of those guys. I mean, it seems pretty obvious. You just have to watch him play.

Have you watched much of them? I don't think they have the talent of those teams (yet) but their players all play the Beautiful Game. I'm a believer.

I love the attitude as well.

Though he definitely has proven that he can play. He's been all star caliber player right from the jump. Incredibly efficient, skilled, versatile and he plays both ends. The guy is a nightmare to game plan against.

Good response, but he has also said that he would be the best player in the league in a couple seasons or something like that.

Nothing wrong with either response, just don't read too much into one soundbite. He's just learning to navigate media questions well
