Grayson is going to be a free agent next year. He is #1 in the League in 3pt percentage. Can the suns keep him or does he get traded? How much could he get on the market?
Averaging
13.6 Ppg
50/47/89
4 Rebounds
3 assists
1 steal

He’s a 3 and D specialist like OG so probably 40 million a year

Newcomers such as Chimezie Metu, Bol Bol, and Drew Eubanks can officially be hovered in trade discussions along with Grayson Allen's $8.5 million salary.
the point guard position considered a possible priority for Phoenix before the deadline and T.J. McConnell, Tyus Jones and Monte Morris listed among the possible trade targets for Phoenix.

Every time I want to trade him for a PG he hits 8 threes.

Probably goes the way of Alex Caruso. The team won't want to pay what another will and he'll walk due to not accepting a minimum. As he shouldn't, I love when roleplayers leave these superteams so they can get what they deserve.

I remember everyone that said he couldn't be an NBA player. Good to see him fulfill his promise. I think he's like Derrick White in that he is an excellent role player provided he's surrounded by great players. You can't afford those great players and to also pay guys like that big money. So he might have to settle for less and hop around to similar contenders hoping to make in the 15-20 range.

I hope we keep him. He's been a fantastic get for us and I'd really hate to lose out on what he brings to the team.

He's a really good regular season guard but was borderline unplayable for the Bucks in the playoffs, especially against bigger wings. Teams will fall in love with his numbers and he puts effort in on defense but I wouldn't call him solid enough to earn the legitimate "3 and D" tag.
As for a contract, I don't think a winning team offers him more than 15m/year. A desperate team or one with more cap space looking to add a solid veteran might reach the low to mid 20s.

He's a goon with a 3-point shot. Some teams could use a bit of toughness. I'm sure he will be coveted in free agency.

I'm guessing he's going to make around 15M a year

If you think he’s a good defender, then you probably haven’t watched him play. Defense is below average on a good night.

He’s a solid player and IMO has an unfair rep, way more goonish players in the league who get off on nut punching or actually hurting people.

He's shooting by far his best percentages of his career, but it's only been 30 games. Chances are it will come down some.
And as others have been stated, his defense is an issue in the postseason.

I said Grayson was the best role player the Suns got in the offseason and got push back. He’s a good rotation player to have and the Suns will miss his production if they trade him or let him go
