It means the nba paid off the girl to hush up and that’s exactly what she did. I knew that would happen the second Allred became her lawyer. Lol he wasn't "cleared" of anything. The girl and her family did not want to cooperate. We can speculate as to why.

It means he's (presumably) legally cleared. It doesn't, necessarily, prove he's a man of outstanding character who has done no wrong and everyone needs to apologize to.

People often fail to cooperate because it's just not worth it for them to go through the legal process. But more will probably come out anyways.

Misleading title. He was not cleared. Her family trafficked her.

1. That the given story is true, and given the circumstances, the family decided that they did not want to further amplify the story and pursue legal action.

2. A schizophrenic conspiracy in which the Newport Beach Police Department colluded with TMZ and the NBA to release the news that the case has been closed on the same day that the Toronto Raptors decided to trade Pascal Siakim to the Indiana Pacers.

A real headscratcher.

I don’t think “cleared” is the appropriate term when the underage girl and her family refused to cooperate. “Charges dropped” seems more appropriate.

#2 not really when you think about it. TMZ was “tipped off” and probably paid to release the news today specifically. Nothing that tricky about that. It’s all about the money with them. You gotta see the big picture man.
