Seeing the post about Dream and Joel Embiid while thinking about what Hakeem would do in the offense Embiid has got me thinking about the "What If" series on Disney+ for Marvel.

We all have our own "what if's" we debate about, between player injuries, trades, drafts, coaches, etc. I have a couple "What If's" that, in the Multiverse of the NBA, would be interesting to talk about. Since we always compared players and generations and whatnot.

Episode 1: "What If- Len Bias Never Passed Away"
Episode 2: "What If- Michael Jordan Never Retired in the 90's"
Episode 3: "What If- Grant Hill Never Got Injured"
Episode 4: "What If- David Stern OK'd the Chris Paul trade to the Lakers"
Episode 5: "What If- Arvydas Sabonis came to the NBA right away"
Episode 6: "What If- The Warriors drafted Tyrese Halliburton instead of James Wiseman"

What are some other "What If" episodes you can think of?

"What If - Scottie Pippen won a championship the year Michael Jordan retired in the 90s".

What an incredibly long-winded approach to request everyone's greatest "what if" fabrication.

What if LeBron never left the Cavaliers? Yes, the first time.

what if okc never had the spur's number in 2012

what if miami never had the buck's number in 2020

both young and both eliminated the two best teams in the league that blanked the heat and lakers in those seasons
it would have been uncertain if lebron would leave miami because he would have had no rings and no cachet. would he have gone back to the cavs ringless. would players have followed him then. would he have won in the bubble.

As a Detroit fan, the biggest one is What if Detroit took melo/wade/bosh ?

A huge "what if" for the entire 00s inter-conference balance: the Celtics draft timmeh.

Portland wins the coin toss in 1984.

Portland unites Clyde and Hakeem and probably wins a few titles.

Houston drafts MJ, is good quickly but then Sampson gets injured and other guys have drug issues. Jordan demands out? perhaps successfully? or stays until they get things together.

Chicago is hosed (probably goes Perkins but that's not enough).

"What if the Grizzlies had won the coin flip and got the number 1 pick in the 2003 draft?"

"What if Kareem Abdul-Jabbar spent his whole career in Milwaukee?"

"What if Stephen Curry replaced Monta Ellis as the player being traded to the Bucks for Andrew Bogut?" (this actually was considered at the time, yes - the Bucks opted for Monta)

"What if Robert Parish and Kevin McHale played their whole careers for the Warriors?" (ie, the Joe Barry-Carroll trade never happens)

"What if Magic Johnson played a full, healthy career?"

"What if Drazen Petrovic never died in a car accident?"

"What if Chris Webber and Latrell Sprewell spent their whole careers for the Warriors?"

And last, but not least...

"What if Pharmcat and Hussien Fatal teamed up and formed a single user, named "Fatal Pharmcat", bombarding the General Board with 375 troll threads per day?"
