Did Kyrie shoot with his left hand one time last night against Warriors?

Post#1 » by srhcan » Thu Mar 14, 2024 2:41 pm

I was watching highlights of Warriors at Mavs game on March 13, and late in 4th quarter I think Kyrie shoot with his left hand and scored. It start from 9:13 in the clip below:

Is it correct?

that's definitely a floater, not a shot. But, admittedly, it was from pretty far way, even to pull off with his strong hand.
Kyrie always had extremely impressive skills, although some think that is somehow limited to flashy dribbling, he has insane body control and can stop and pop from literally anywhere. He's even good at those short range jump shots which are tough to do.

In terms of dribbling and finishing, his left hand is probably better than that of most left handed nba players, which is crazy to think about.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

*Yawn* Kyrie hitting a lefty floater isn't shocking or surprising.

Or thread worthy if we're being honest.

as a verb, yes he shot the ball. as to the type of shot, it was a floater not a (jump)shot.

Easily one of the most underappreciated players of NBA history. Ridiculous skill level. He's in the Tmac, Penny, Kobe, Hakeem tier of skill for sure. Just a beautiful game

you mean ambidextrous (a person who can use the right and left hands equally well) and I dont think he is. But that left hand floater/shot at such a distance is amazing. He probably should try it more.

Mike Conley (left-handed player) has a great right hand floater that he uses frequently. It's pretty much his signature shot.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

It is because it was a buzzer beater and it was the only shot he could take because Jokic was right there, and he's not left handed.

Sometimes a big deal is made out of a dunk or layup on a buzzer beater or just a regular midrange shot so I'd say this qualifies.

That left handed shot over the Joker to win it was ridiculous. He has been making unbelievable shots all year though, the guy is a marvel to watch. His shot making especially inside the paint among the bigs is just crazy for a 6 foot 180 pound player. He is a joy to watch.

I truly dislike Kyrie but that was one of the greatest shots in NBA history. Amazing.

Shot tonight for the game winner was insane, left handed floater from the free throw line over Jokic, incredible!

Weird. I consider him one of the most overrated players of all time, certainly of the current generation, when you compare hype versus actual results. His career is basically one big shot set up by a GOAT candidate. He'll wind up as a "What Could Have Been" guy.

Skills and "beauty," yes. On-court value, dubious.

What a shot.

If only Kyrie could get to the line more often.
