Christian Wood - Out for the season

He is going to have season ending surgery.
They are not sure if and when Vando will be back.
Gabe Vincent is supposed to come back any day once he gets his conditioning up.
Cam Reddish - I know he has a bad ankle but no idea when he's back.

Looks like that 7th finals loss is out of the picture

Wow damn, he still has not played a single NBA play off game in his career. This year supposed to be his break.

He's a 17MPG player, including garbage time, doubt this changes for the LAL, sucks for him though, he signed the vet min after running out of options this year, he won't have better offers next year.

Doesn't move the needle either way IMO.

Meh, The Knicks have had far worse/more dehabilitating injuries all season, yet they keep on competing/fighting

Most startling of all, most of the Lakers aside from Lebron (and most of the the time AD) lack any kind of backbone or pride or team effort.

What Lakers fans need to accept is players like Reaves and Rui are not starting five or key players on any legitimate contender.

Pelinka threw a hail Mary trying to assemble a championship contending team on a tight/shoe string budget and or brought in quantity over quality recruits last summer..

Ham has his issues but no one could work wonders with such an awful roster construction. Jerry West is not walking through that door again.

Sucks for him.

Never have I seen a player get so much hype for being so mid. MAYBE Anthony Randolph might rival him in that regard)

I think its amazing how opposite the views of laker fans and laker haters are.

I see them talk shyt about the lakers 4 out of 5 days on air and im sure laker haters think they are adored.

Heres the thing, comparisons suck. I wasnt measuring their injuries versus the knicks.
As far as the talent they have, im lost because i just saw people saying their record is inexcusable being that AD and Bron have been relatively healthy. Do they have an adequate supporting cast or not?
Lastly, if laker fans complain about Ham, we are just deflecting from "our King". I was unaware others knew of Hams shortcomings 8-)

When the Lakers lose a game, ESPN makes it a headline, “is this the end of the Lakers?”

When the Lakers win a game, ESPN makes it a headline, “are the Lakers turning it around? Can they reach the Finals?”

I don’t think it’s “4 out of 5” negative, but I do think it’s “5 out of 5” airtime. Most of the fans of other teams, with teams that are doing bigger things, don’t like being ignored, and wouldn’t complain if they got half the Lakers’ publicity.

It's not about being a hater, its about the truth.

Did you see the sentiment ESPN had when they signed Christian Wood? They were acting like it was a big signing. Which I guess is further proof that most TV personalities don't actually watch games and just look at stats.

Said this very thing About Vucevic for years. By now, not many people rank Wood that high, so how overrated can he even be?

Lakers fans here were acting like Wood was some steal that would move the needle lol

For vet minimum, he was exciting proposition. I think fans of a lot of teams often act the same over barely relevant moves, so it happens.

To be fair, i stopped watching sports talk TV about a year ago.
I can see your point but I dont think they get a positive spot every time they win. They damn sure got a negative segment with each of their last 3-4 losses though.
