This is where I'm annoyed with fatso. He could've gotten an amazing logo, marketing, legacy... But he chose an irrelevant Chinese brand because of 2 or 3 million dollars a year more.

This is a tangent but this just reminded me of an article I read the other day about Embiid's deal with Under Armor. Apparently they only made one Embiid shoe in 5 years and now they've ended their deal and Joel is going to Sketchers or something. I thought it was kinda weird.

Forever, everyone around me seemed to say NIke (like PIKE). But now all I hear is Nye-key. I never thought it was Ney-key.

Nike and Mike not being pronounced the same way was always mind boggling to me when I was learning English in school

A stock "alien" design... that is so impersonal that Nike doesn't put one... but two swooshes on it. A logo on a logo.

The video is cool. But the logo is not great.

I've been hearing it pronounced both ways for 40+ years. Back to when the only Nikes I remember were the all white leather ones with red or blue swooshes on the sides(which I liked).

English in general is completely wack when it comes to pronunciation, there really is nothing like it at all. Not hard language to learn, but their pronunciation system is something else. Thats why these guys see name BJELICA or AVDIJA, and have no clue how those words make the sound that it does lol. And I know, if you are Spanish, letters C and J also sound different than most other Euro languages, but I think you can still make sense why BJELICA sounds the way it does, to all of us, Bjelica is pronounced exactly the way it is spelled, but some North Americans thought it was Bee-Jell-lick-ka

Grabbed that alien straight off of MS Paint clipart and slapped the Nike logo everywhere they could. Most generic thing I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot considering Nike tries to make new NBA jerseys as boring as possible.
