These 3 have or will be talked about forever. Which one do you guys think is the worst or dumbest from the 3 sports? or most embarrassing or memorable.

Funny, the MLB one the guys last name was also Craig.

Note - the Butt Fumble video seems like it is not letting us see no matter what, I tried 3 different videos, just type Butt Fumble on Youtube and it will come up. I am sure everyone knows about the play.

Baseball one is easily the dumbest.

Funniest, I might give a slight edge to the NBA over the MLB. It's very close.

Embarrassment is just an illusion, so I'm unable to vote.

I feel like the JR Smith finals blunder is the most notorious for basketball at this point, meme culture and all.

When I was 15, I got from first base to home plate when our batter got his third strike on a wild pitch. I had to go around the batter to score because he was still standing in the box, and the opposing team's coach started shouting, "Tag him! Tag him!" and our batter was tagged out. I couldn't believe he could be so clueless, but at least we scored. I crossed three bases, and dude didn't move.

I mean, I think it was that guy's first year of playing baseball, so it's understandable he didn't immediately know the rule. But still. It was a really long time to just stand there like a zombie. I wasn't listening, but I assume lots of people were shouting at him to run. He probably thought they were shouting at me.

There's a definite flaw in your story...
If you were on first base, then it would make sense why he didn't run, because with less than two outs, he's automatically out.
If there were two outs, and he was tagged out, then you wouldn't have scored, because he was the third out.
(Maybe you were on 2nd base, not 1st?)

Regardless, the baseball mistake is easily the most embarrassing.

You're right. Maybe we didn't score.

I think that's it. I think I was on first, and the run I scored was lost because he didn't move. It adds to the ridiculousness of the story, because they were throwing the ball all over the diamond trying to get me while he was standing there the whole time.

I guess I remembered it that way because I was more proud of having run all the way home than I was mad about not getting the run on the board for our team. I guess! (You got me questioning my memory now.)

The butt fumble is legendary and I thought for sure I was going to vote for it but after watching that baseball play I'd never seen before that definitely takes the cake

Baseball is the dumbest. Butt fumble is probably the most embarrassing. How a 1st baseman doesn't understand he can step on the bag is beyond me. Not to mention, there were 2 outs. The runner on 3rd is meaningless

The MLB play, like, how can you be a professional player and screw that up so badly?

The basketball play is probably the least bad. Just miscommunication.

The butt fumble wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't... a butt fumble. But that was an accident, whereas the baseball play was on purpose.

I just watched the baseball video and despite my limited knowledge of it (it comes exclusively from MLB 2k and OOTP), it's pretty clearly the baseball one.

Man the coach would tear up the baseball player. Had this happen twice but on different bases. The baseman just had a complete brain fade/fart

Dudes position was fine but he just kept zombie waddling lmao.

The funny thing about that baseball play is that even after the guy scored, they still could’ve thrown the ball to 1st and the runner would be out and the run wouldn’t count.

Yep. It looked like the brainfart of the first baseman just short-circuited the whole team and everyone just forgot the rules momentarily.
