I'm already preemptively grumpy that the league leading Celtics are likely only getting 1 all nba player so I'll be extra grumpy if Tatum doesn't make 1st team lol.

But I wouldn't mind Brunson taking Giannis' spot on the 1st team. GA has great stats but so does Brunson and the Bucks have been very disappointing.

That sure the hell is not because of Giannis you put him on that Celtics team instead of Tatum nobody beats them period.

He is not hated, I did evaluate also the team personnel and the team position. Stats are the most important but not the only important thing, just like with MVP. Without AD and with the same team on that position he would be higher with same stats, but having another all star, and being where they are ... was just not enough for the second team in my eyes.

There's some kind of magic reason why Brunson needs the Giannis spot but obviously not Tatum's. Because wins or something but not in any way saying that Tatum is better than Giannis or even on his level. Just something

Whoever it is I don't want to see two All-NBA players on the Lakers unless Boston also gets two again. Insane that we could actually be looking at a sub-50 win team with two all-NBA players while a 64 win team gets one.

Why? Boston's 3-10 players are night and day better than the Lakers. That's why Boston is a contender and the lakers aren't.

A few notes - I tried to bias this for games played but that was difficult. I see a strong case to flip Maxey for Curry who I didn't put in that first pass which I mostly built looking over lucked adjusted RAPM. That said I see a logic in keeping Maxey for keeping the 76ers from falling apart without Embiid. Edwards is another guy who maybe deserves credit but RAPM didn't seem to agree. Conversely I see the wolves success built around defense and Gobert more. I know Gobert over Edwards will set some off but again I think this is sound.

What's wrong with LeBron and Davis being All-NBA? Because they are Lakers?

I realize there are a few players (Mitchell, Embiid) who would probably get in over LeBron and Davis if they were healthy this year, but I still think it's absurd that two players from a play-in team are being considered.

I was wondering why Doris was pushing so hard for Brunson over Giannis because according to her "If NY gets the #2 spot over Milwaukee, Brunson (should/could) be All NBA first team over Giannis."

I love Brunson, he has gotten better every year and I always root for players like that. But there is no way he should make it over Giannis or Tatum.
