It all started here for the Wolves...

I like Denver but I am happy for Conley and the Wolves.

They've earned their shine.

Still a long ways to go in the series but the master plan is coming together.
** Luka made The Finals without Brunson
** Embiid is the only MVP in NBA history to never make a conference final
** Philly won multiple playoff games without MVP Embiid
** LeBron missed the playoffs with Davis
** Steph missed the playoffs with Klay

Yeah he seems in good shape.

Bringing him in just changed everything IMO.

Conley is the calm head, the old, smart vet. Lots of playoff exp as well (Grizz, Jazz)

He's helped a a young, immature, dumb (they were very talented but low BB IQ, mentally soft, etc) TWolves teams the last 2 seasons.

It's paying off well this season!

As a basketball head it was practically torture watching this team sometimes before Mike. Just screaming at the TV " YOU HAVE ALL THE TALENT IN THE WORLD AND YOURE DUMB!!! YOURE JUST DUMB! YOU, YOU AND ESPECIALLY YOU ARE DUMB!!!"

Then you watch Mike come in and it's like getting an infection relieved. Whether it's a tooth or a cyst or even a bad pimple. You pop that thing and it's like ahhhhhhh, All is right with the world.

Heard in post game interview from Edwards. That Conley was like the 2nd coach with Finch recovering from knee surgery. During timeouts, huddles, etc.

Conley is like the highly respected uncle, lol Props!

Before Conley the team was IMO the scarecrow in Wizard of Oz. No brain.

It's not that Conley is team MVP but bringing him in was what IMO started to turn the tide.

Credit to the organization for making good moves.

not sure what Ainge was thinking sending Conley & NAW to MN in the second trade. Mike unlocked Rudy for the rest of the team and NAW has been simply outstanding off the bench.

I said it right away. add Mike, add NAW, dump DNo and get 3 2nd rd picks. a grand slam trade for MN.

The (experts) like Bill Simmons who said the Gobert trade for Minnesota was the worst trade in history (or at least recent memory) sure have egg on their face

Didn't play tonight, bur Rudy has been a true game changer, one with a Viking's Mentality (despite some flaws with his game, which he is improving on)

But also signing an undrafted Naz Reid who is on arguably best value/team friendly contract in the NBA also is a testament to a very professional and astute Minnesota Front Office.

It's hard to say what exactly was the one pivotal moment in the rise of the Wolves is, but surely it should give hope to fans of even the worst/most lowly teams (esp small markets) in the NBA that things can turn around within a few years if you have some astute off court management (plus lottery luck too)

It is not only about what he brought to the team but also who he replaced.

Dlo is one of the worst low IQ player in the League.

Ainge owed the Wolves for the Garnett trade.

Props to Conley but it’s quite obvious that none this is happening without Ant.

Conley isnt that good. What he does do is show how important having a point guard and floor organizing ball handler is to a contending team. He doesnt actually do that much yet the team would be markedly worse without him.
