Many people believe that Ant man is the 2nd best in the franchise history now at 22.

If time transport back to 2020, you have Ant Man and 19 year old KG in the draft, you are the GM back from today knowing their capabilities, who do you pick as #1?

KG's primary value is his defense.

That would be like comparing Kobe to Duncan and saying Kobe is better cause he scores more.

I'm not convinced that Edwards won't derail his career doing something incredibly stupid. I know for a fact that KG isn't incredibly stupid. But I've seen Ant throw a chair at a woman, broadcast himself being a homophobic asshat over the internet, and he had that thing that blew up with him pressuring his mistress to get that abortion. He's only 22 so hopefully he matures, but so far he has a streak of stupidity that's worrying.

Imagine taking KAT off the current team and putting prime KG in his place. They would win it all.

I already know what KG did, and as great as it was, it didn't win us anything.

KG is an all-time great, but I think that Edward's potential is greater then that of KG.

KG is the perfect #2 option on a championship team, but Edwards has the ability to be a #1 option on a championship team.

Except KG was not as good as Duncan and defense just does not carry the same weight as offense in current nba. Rudy Gobert, this season's DPoY and 4x total, can become unplayable depending on matchups.

Edwards is certainly just not scoring more, he is scroing 29.8ppg on 51/40/83 shooting or .633TS% over 19 career playoff games, with 24.8PER and 8.5BPM. In addition, his defense 1.5s/1.3b as a guard is elite.

KG 100 times out of 100. Just...this is silly. KG would be the easiest guy in 2020 to build around for exactly what General99 said above. KG is the perfect 2nd option and in today's league that's more valuable than one of the 40 guys capable of being a number 1.

KG was never a #1 option on a championship team. People forget Pierce was the #1 on Boston championship team. Even then they only managed to win 1 championship with that big 3.

Antman is clearly going to be a #1 and the Wolves will be in the mix for a championship sooner than later.

There's a difference between that and hitting bystanders with chairs. You wouldn't accept that behavior from a 9 year old, let alone a grown ass man.

KG is a lot closer to Duncan than Edwards is to Kobe as of right now.

Edwards is gonna to show a lot more to be in this comparison. Great playoffs so far albeit in a small sample size I will give you that.
