Never has a defending champion been so thoroughly humiliated in a single game in the postseason.

Good I hope they take it to heart and show up in Denver. They deserve every bit of this beating. The wolves team is no joke.

You have to win game 7 for it to matter at all.
Either way, not important.

If they win next game, it won't matter. It'll only look like a huge joke if Minny somehow end up winning game 7. I'm expecting Denver to close this out with Jokic putting an all time elite performance though, they can't touch him.

Agreed. Looking at the final score and the stat sheet, that's a very embarrassing loss and i figure it could be some type of record. But many of the greats have had their teams waxed throughout the playoffs and it's not even a footnote if their team pulls out the series and especially if they win the championship.

You've forgotten the Mother's Day Massacre so soon? For shame

Mother's Day Massacre (BOS vs PHI)

This kind of thing is not unprecedented in NBA history.

BOS won both games huge but lost both of those series.
** Luka made The Finals without Brunson
** Embiid is the only MVP in NBA history to never make a conference final
** Philly won multiple playoff games without MVP Embiid
** LeBron missed the playoffs with Davis
** Steph missed the playoffs with Klay

Even teams on their way to winning a championship can get blown out:

2 competitive games. 3 absolute blowouts, one single game where a team kind of kept the other at arms length.

However still a pretty amazing series, realistically Denver could win and we would of still scored 24 more points then then overall in 7 games and held them to under 100 3 times.

Any team can get blown out, but no other championship team has been blown out by 45 (trailing by 50 at one point), single digits in the 4th.

I turned it off when they were down 30 in the 4th with like 7 minutes left. It looked like Malone was gonna pull the starters, did that contribute?

Murrary has never been a guy with a great first step, tends to need a screen, but he has zero explosion or lift right now. He never stood a chance against Alexander-Walker and McDaniels... both are skinny enough to slip over screens and long enough to completely engulf him.

Jokic gonna have to put up a 40/20/10 game to win.

This series has been quite intriguing. Only one team has won at home so far. It could go either way for G7, but I expect Jokic to take that embarrassing loss personally and get his team the W. Antman has taken a big leap and a joy to watch, but Jokic is at a further-along stage in his career with experience in big matches and is an all-time great center.

It's why I didn't bet on game 6 cause it's always hard winning in the road unless it was absolutely necessary which it wasn't. It's always best to give their loyal home fans a game 7 in the playoffs for the 1st time in a long while now for the Nuggets.

Now I am going to bet BIG like I did in game 3 cause why pass up on an almost sure thing for their fans. Any smart better should do the same. Dumb one will pick the Ant man who will choke again.

It's so predictable Lol

Lol I didn't even watch this game because I was watching Caitlin the superstar instead against NY. It's much watch over any game 6 but will definitely watch game 7.

Well this is one of those rare it’s not actually as big of a loss as it looked like games. The Nuggets threw in the towel and accepted the loss in the early 4th quarter and the Wolves proceeded to keep their foot on the gas pedal and were trying to demolish the Nuggets bench for some reason.

Denver just has zero depth. They should trade MPJ who isn’t really a difference maker and try t break up his contract into multiple rotation guys.

This Denver talk is confusing.

When they win they are the next dynasty.

When they lose they need to break the team up.

Last time I checked they were the favorites to win it all for the 2nd straight season. Nobody said it was going to be easy.

Yep and that game was actually worse(final score not withstanding). Golden State made a run in the 4th quarter after being down 50 while Nuggets just threw in the towel in the 4th to make the final score worse.
