First KD had to endure Steph winning without him, and cementing himself as greater All-time…now he has to witness Kyrie be on his best behavior, become a much better fit alongside Luka, make it to the Finals, and possibly win a championship. To make things worse, witness Kyrie (and company) sweep the team that just SWEPT him (and his superteam) in round one

Durant has a snake like grin on his face because he sees who the Mavs are 92% likely to meet in the finals. Although the last time Dallas was in the finals they shocked the world and upset the favorites

This would be funny and if we didn’t already know how sensitive KD is and how bothered he can be by certain narratives and discourse. He’s the epitome of “money can’t buy happiness”

I mean the guy has 2 rings and will probably approach 1$ billion in career earnings and endorsements combined by the time he hangs it up...I think he feels real good right now.

Man is one of the best scorers in history, hes good, I have no doubt he regrets some of his career decisions, but I doubt it haunts him to a point hes tortured inside that his x teammates win. I think GSW winning in 2022 hit him maybe a little, but maybe not, that team were already champions before him.
I think some fans tend to overthink this more than players themselves, doubt he cares much. I do however think that he was upset to realize how little his titles were valued by people, man won two finals MVPs, but it was still always the others guys team hes just on.

Luka is a better player than him. This isn't a surprising result. KD has always been best suited to a Robin role.
