Paul George basically confirming he's out of there!

That was the end of the clip, but throughout the interview he talked about Pablo Banchero and the Orlando Magic a lot. I'm just putting pieces together, but that does seem like a team that plays the right way and not necessarily a contending team.

This is not suprising to me. PG has been my favorite player since his Indiana days. I have always said he's not necessarily looking for a championship. He basically admitted that in this clip.

I think PG is signing with Orlando.

Thoughts?

I hope so, would be a great pick up and he would be what we need.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

He'd be able to create his own shot and provide vet leadership, two qualities the Magic need.

Been saying it since the Clippers got eliminated. PG has been talking about Banchero a lot on his podcast. He's a big fan.

Everybody thinks the Sixers make more sense, but PG doesn't want any pressure to win in that city. Orlando seems more of his vibe. If im betting I think he signs with Orlando.

huh

he says playing the right way, which means first you have to assume HE THINKS he's playing the wrong way @clips, which in turn would mean he's slighting ty lue

he DOES say he's not concerned about chasing a ring which is one of the reasons he went to the clips in the first place
but that only sounds to me like philly is outty

otoh,,,this whole shebang could be one gigantic bluff

I’d love to see that.

It’d be cool if they could trade for Garland after that too. Would love to see a 3 team deal of Bridges to CLE, Garland to ORL, assets from both to BRK. Beef the East up so the first and second rounds of the playoffs are better.

Magic would be an excellent fit for George. The only issue is that they would still have issues of not having a Point Guard at all, but this lineup is still very solid:

Jalen Suggs
Paul George
Franz Wagner
Paolo Banchero
Wendell Carter Jr

I think something does have to give with Suggs however, because I have a feeling with in that lineup, it would be too many cooks. They need a true facilitator, or someone to focus on spot up shooting at PG. Someone like DeAngelo Russell would work well here.

Suggs shot 40% on good volume.

Someone also mentioned Harden has warned PG about working with Morey. Also explains why he looked so uncomfortable when Embiid was trying to recruit him during the Finals on ABC lol.

I think it's Magic or Clippers.

PG on that squad would be so fun to watch. I'm all for it. I'd like to see them try and go after Tyus Jones.

Or really... lets be honest, we are a team with the right circumstance to get used by FAs to leverage max deals with their preferred teams lol

still think hes just trying to leverage more years on his deal with the clippers. Id be shocked if he left LA.

He could get a mansion on a PGA golf course with lake access for half the price price of a house in California. Steph just got one near Orlando last year.

Suggs is basically playing as a 3&D guard. He was just catching and shooting not holding on to the ball in offense.

I have not listened to the full podcast, but PG being a 6'9 two way player that can do a little bit of everything.. I definitely think he's the type of player the Magic FO loves. Its a good destination for PG. Sixers are a great destination too, but there is this mess that happened between Morey and Harden that could affect his decision.

Read on Twitter

I still dont really expect him to sign with the Magic though.
