I think it’s a great trade for both teams. Looks like Bulls will go into rebuild mode. Giddey needs the ball to be effective and Caruso is a 3&D who slots right into OKC

I kinda like it for both, more OKC though.

Bulls were smart to move Caruso sooner than later. This should be a clear indicator that they will bottom out and finally start the inevitable rebuild.

I like this for CHI. Caruso is the type of guy I think is/was coveted by a large number of teams, but none who could or would give up great value. Banking on a breakout of a high pick like this makes more sense than the pupu platter of late 1st and 2nd that I think they’d get from others.

For OKC, they have so many expendable pieces I think it makes sense to sell low on a guy who doesn’t fit like this.

Giddey sucks and has bad baggage. Great move for OKC.

Love it for OKC. RIP to any guards who have to go up against a Caruso/SGA backcourt.

Meh for Chicago. Giddey might settle in as a starter-level player, but he's probably always going to be awkward to build a lineup around.
