What’re the Wiz doing with this? Play him and then trade him move later on?

Especially for going to the Wizards.

Are they going to re-sign Tristan Vukcevic?
I like him as an upside play for Boston if he's available for a vet min deal in free agency. I had assumed that they were just declining his deal to do a new long-term deal, but maybe not?

Filling out a roster?
Tanking is a myth. Teams can rebuild without completely emptying the tank like the Hinkie Sixers. Still gotta pretend to put a product on the floor some people will pay to go watch.

Good for Jonas. But other than that, I got nothing.

They probably signed him to hopefully sell high to someone else at the trade deadline.

I am surprised another team like Okc couldn’t have got him at that price.

Eh no problem with this. They’ll continue to be bad for next 2-3 years and hopefully pick up some good draft picks. He’ll be off the books by the time they’re ready to be good again.

How the F is Richaun Holmes making more than JV next year. I get it from the Wiz's standpoint. Get a big C to help protect Sarr as he develops. I don't get it from JV's standpoint. $10M is pennies these days.

This makes absolutely no sense for Washington.
They just throwing random players together. Are you rebuilding or retooling?

This is actually a perfect signing.
Paid below MLE, won’t hurt the tank and an easy tradeable contract down the road.

While I don't get why they signed him, he is an absolute steal for that price. Somehow hard to believe that this was his best option.

Yeah, but he's a sleight framed dude who isn't going to be capable of banging in the post. Val gives them that and then some. Sarr will probably be more of a stretch 4/5 as I see it.
