Barnes has been the best in the draft class thus far. Now whether he'll stay there remains up for debate.

These nba contracts are out of control man.

Still believe in Mobley's potential on the defensive end. Cavs made the right bet moving forward.

He was an all star last year

its clear they need to move Garland

These contracts are the new norm. We have to embrace the league is making tons of money and the players are going to benefit off that extra revenue.

It’ll look like a steal once the new tv money starts to kick in and max deals are double this.

It's a great time to be a young, promising, above average NBA-player. Teams are basically forced to max you out, no matter what defiencies you might have in your game.

Contracts in the NBA today make no damn sense..

It's not so clear to me. He's our floor general and an all-star caliber player. Dan Gilbert is one of the richest owners, I don't think he'll mind paying the tax for a couple years.

I would think, or rather "hope", that teams wise up in a few years when they finally feel the hurt by constantly going over the 2nd tax apron due to constantly offering role players max contracts like they're candy.

Evan is only 23 years old and this was necessary for the Cavs. Give Evan a couple more shot attempts per game, dump Caris LeVert, who was third on the team in field goals per game, and the Cavs will be on to something.
