You could have added Ja Morant to your list of players.

I see Kawhi being listed, however, he hasn't been healthy around this time of the year since 2020. Therefore, I don't think he should be on the list. And would the Pelicans really let Zion participate, given his injury history?

Its hypothetical thread, so probably best to not overthink this.

Not going to name full 12 men roster right now, but I will name players who I would consider, whom maybe would be overlooked.

Suggs - similar to Jrue or White. Guy like him is must have. Its him or Carsuso.
Issac - probably the most dominant 1 on 1 defender in the NBA
Mark Williams - out of true big American centers left, hes kinda the best thing available. Not a thick boy, but plays like real center, also he is very young.

Also, this is a huge reach, but I would also consider T. J. McConnell, at least give him camp invite.

Yes, I would also hesitate to put Mobley, because he is not locked by USA yet, Bahamas tries really hard to recruit him. That said, the fact he hasn't played for them yet, probably indicates he is waiting for USA offer, his brother Isaiah however, already practiced with Bahamas NT I believe.

This list of players makes our 3v3 team seem so much stupider than it already was.

3x3 Basketball qualifying is not the same as regular basketball, you can't send whoever you like, you can only send squads that actually qualifies, and since 3x3 qualy tournaments happen during pro seasons, all 3x3 players are semi pros from second, third divisions, or retired pros who can dedicate to 3x3. NBA players, or players from other serious leagues just can't qualify for 3x3 basketball.

Nic Claxton is very overlooked player these days, would be interesting to see him under different environment.

I think Paolo is a lock for this. He was on the team last year and is only going to get better. He's the prototype for team USA for the future.

You're arguing that the stupid ones are the tournament organizers rather than team USA, and I'm fine with that. The whole operation is stupid when you systematically keep out anyone good enough to go pro.
